This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the updated “Mighty Pets” Challenge Event


Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

:superhero: Mighty Pets in Challenge Event

Same as earlier

As with the Gargoyles, Challenge Festival 1-2 heroes, the Mighty Pets heroes have a bonus when they are used in the Mighty Pets challenge event.

Specifically:

  • Heroes of the Mighty Pet family bypass the Elemental Barriers, and have increased attack, defense, and health (+20%) in this Challenge Event’s stages

Some Notes:

  • This bonus ONLY applies to Mighty Pets Family Heroes IN the Mighty Pets Event.
  • It is NOT limited to Unique heroes only
 Any and all Mighty Pets heroes gain the bonus stat boost.

NAP TIME effect is now removed.

As with all other challenge events, the Mighty Pets comes with it’s own Summon Portal. See below for information regarding the appearance rates.

The “Mighty Pets” makes use of the existing Challenge Event Coins currency for summoning. It also features the Suspicious Chest’s as a rare & random monster which drops 1x Challenge Coin as bonus loot.

The Mighty Pets follows the the usual set-up for Challenge Events with 3 difficulty tiers (Rare, Epic & Legendary).
There are 10 Stages for each tier.

Enemies’ Wrath of Pets (Passive):

  • When a Fiend is summoned to any enemy, this character deals 85% 20% damage to all enemies. This effect can activate only once per turn.

This change effect the bosses only and not your Might Pets heroes !

I greatly enjoyed this event the last time it was active. (Which is rare to say about any new content this past year or so - at least for me.) It felt fresh, fun and not as uphill as many other new things in the game.

IÂŽm so sad to read about this change in gameplay. I expected it to come, but the naive part of me just hoped it was originally inteded to be, well, just, fun. I guess not. :confused:

Well, at least some of the s1 hero chances go towards trainer heroes. Of course, event hero chances don’t increase

 Not that i should
 But one last hurrah
that sounds ominous
 But i just want a decent option to level.

Any word on if this is February or March?

I dont get why not add the chances to rare and epic special event heroes
 why add trainers here?
Epic trainer has the same percentage as legendary event hero? Seriously

I knew
 When i get a 1% trainer
 It just makes me feel crappy. I know
 It isn’t a 1% trainer or a event legendary, but it still stinks.

I still enjoyed playing this new version in beta. The mechanic where you get either a minion or a fiend is still interesting and different.

As I said elsewhere, it did not feel excessively difficult at all, and felt overall easier that the previous version. And it definitely isn’t a horrible slog like the musketeers, clash, gargoyles, or towers. So give it a chance before giving up on it.

Also, I didn’t see it mentioned in the OP, but there are also now the typical, expected event PoV missions for fighting bosses at all three levels and improving a score.

Epic trainer heroes at 1%? On par with Event 5* heroes ?

And 1.5% for S1 classic 5*?

Is Zynga saying that Epic Trainers are just as valuable as Event 5* heroes? I know there are 5 elements. So it’s 0.2% each.

There will be more Event 5* this round, but still at 1%?
Total 9 Event 5* => 0.11% odds for each

Can’t Zynga improve the odds to 1.3% with 1.2% for classic S1 5*, like other portals ?

1.3% => 0.14% odds for each
Those event 5* still wont be rushing out to players, that’s for sure.

Zynga won’t go bankrupt by doing this.

Thank you for sharing :100: I just recall that the Nap Time mechanism was a big reason that the fights didn’t drag on forever. Sad to see that removed. But fingers crossed then, that it’s ‘worse on paper than in game’, thank you. :crossed_fingers::four_leaf_clover:

Yep, Nap was fun to play and something different, now the event will become the copy of other events
 And a 5% atk/HP minion? With no additional effects? Really???

I agree, this was a really fun new mechanic to play with, and it gave some variety to the event quests, but oh well
 it is what it is I guess :confused:

Please , no trainer heroes in this portal, or at least change the odds . We gonna get 4* trainers instead of a legendary hero. This is very sad

Actually you will get a 4 star trainer hero instead of Sabina, Kiril, Tiburtus, etc

A 3 star trainer hero instead of Dawa, Gan Ju, Bane, etc

You are right
 But it doesn’t feel like it.

Not really, 1% odds for a 4* trainer hero this is equal to a 5* event hero. From time to time we will get that odd (1%) and when we gonna get that odd we will get a 4* trainer hero insted of a 5* legendary event hero.

Your scenario would be this:

Instead of what we have in the OP:

You can clearly see that the Season 1 hero chances are reduced.

My scenario is not at all like that . My scenario is like that:
Legendary event hero : 1% .
Epic trainer hero : 1% .
This two odds are equal, and from time to time instead of getting a 5* event hero we get a epic trainer hero. That 1% odd is coming from time to time , so will be cases when instead of getting a 5* event hero we gonna get a nice epic trainer hero.
And your scenario is like that .
Trainer epic hero : 1%
Epic event hero : 5,7 %
Epic classic hero : 19 %
How a epic trainer hero odd can ever be replace for a epic event hero odd or epic classic hero odd?

If you see the updated summon odds, you’ll realize that the trainer heroes percentage is coming off of rare and epic classic heroes, not legendary. Your chance of getting a legendary event hero is the same it used to be. The difference is that now you have less 10% chance of getting a Dawa, and plus 10% chance of getting a rare trainer hero. Or 1% less chance of getting Kelile and 1% plus chance of getting an epic trainer hero.

I would rather get a trainer hero than an s1 3* or 4*. That’s what is changing.

If you’re saying that 1% for legendary event heroes is too low, I will agree. But the inclusion of trainer heroes doesn’t hurt anyone in the least. It’s a separate issue.
