This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the new legendary Heroes.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

  • Deals 490% damage to the target.
  • All allies are immunte to incoming negative effects and damage from Fiends for 4 tuns.
  • All allies are immune to new Fiends for 4 turns.

Special Skill: Radjant Rapid-Fire

  • Deals 245% damage to all enemies.
  • Deals 490% damage against Minion and Fiend summoners.
  • All enemies get -50% decrease for any healing received for 4 turns.

It looks like these heroes will be available in the Black Friday Summon:

So make sure first thing that hits them after isn’t a special skill and if tile try to cascade through a weak tile hitting first?

Lol… Fiend and minion counters. I mean, shouldn’t be surprised right…

This is so typical of SG now - create OP heroes that will become the meta and then introduce new heroes to render these meta heroes useless. Peñolite’s special is not even towards heroes who has a minion or a fiend, but summoners. :rofl:

Curious if HOTM such as Glenda or Uraeus would qualify as a minion summoner? How about c.Kaliden (on her dodge) and all Druid class heroes?

Minions and fiends would counter their 1 damage effect… if they weren’t sodomized by their specials.

Gargoyle passive looks great! With no differentiation between mana speeds, this adds more value to fast heroes like Herzog. Both can be combined with counterattack similar to Black Knight and Elena combo.

Herzog: I’m curious how long all allies are immune to fiend damage. Seems like a fast sniper with some anti fiend defense. Good for Elizabeth tanks if you’re loading up blue. Also can be used as just a fast sniper even if fiends aren’t around if you don’t have a deep roster.

Penolite: 245% damage to all and -50% decrease for healing is an okay hero as is at average mana. I wouldn’t get excited, but still useable. Add in the 490% to minion and fiend summoners and her value majorally increases.

:see_no_evil::see_no_evil:. I don’t even know how to respond. What a disheartening path they have taken as they make sure any really good heroes are only good for a few months then you need to spend spend spend for a hero that will only last you a few months. :money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face:.

I did some rough calculation and look like SG is en-route to c.70 new 5* heroes (excluding HOTM) this year… from S4, new events heroes, last batch of S1 costumes, magic tower heroes, clash of knight heroes, seasonal costume, HOTM costume and now new ninja tower heroes and heroes from some unknown events.

This number is probably close to the # of 5* heroes (excluding S1 and HOTM) that they introduced in all previous years combined. Crazy. :scream:

I’m so happy! I finally just got the tabbards and ascended Hannah. Ill enjoy her as a top player for maybe a couple weeks before she burns in a fiery death from these things. Boy, this really makes me want to keep getting new heroes!

My thoughts exactly! It took me forever to get the mats to ascend them, and a good chunk of money to get them in the first place. Now they will be a liability as much as a powerful defender. “sigh” :frowning:

  • Staff said that these heroes will be for a new event. Information on the event will be provided by staff later.
