🧪 Early Information on New Covenant of Champions Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat v50]

NOTE: Please do not, under any circumstances, share IMAGES OR VIDEOS from Beta in this or any public Forum thread. Violations can cause players to lose their Beta accounts, or threads to be closed down.

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the Coventant of Champions Heroes (new Quest).

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

These are impressive. Really like the passives.

Think for me Hammertusk & Ebba would be most wanted at this stage, but plenty time for things to change

I’ve been playing this game since March 2018. Even tho I’m playing everyday, I’m starting to have a hard time remembering what all the new heroes do. When raiding, I often need to click on ennemies to make sure I remember what their specials are. That’s new for me. And with another bunch coming, it’ll get worse.

It’s cool to have new content and new heroes and all… and it’s hard to blame a game for trying to keep their players active, but the pace is really fast.

Now we’re getting absrud with these innate skills. Now having an innate ability of negating all damage from a special skill?

I wonder though of this innate skill on heroes like Alfrike, Congalach, and Pengi. If the innate skill activates to negate damage, and let’s say Alfrike launches 2 or more cubes at one single target, does that target negate all of the cubes aimed at it, or just one?

I am in the same boat as you minus a few months. The pace is way to fast and the new heroes are crazy strong. All these new heroes have passives are hat are crazy strong. Nothing passive about a very fast hero who can randomly mark an enemy for extra damage.

Strong heroes overall. Perhaps I would pull a bit in this portal if the other heroes are interesting enough.

I’ve been reading it as if special deals say 350%dmg they would only take 250% but will need someone in beta to test

Yeah. Well, I don’t wanna start another power creep thread. My point was really about the amount of heroes this game now features. It’s crazy. I mean, I have over 12 000 raids wins, I play everyday, I have no memory problem whatsoever… and I can’t even keep up with all those specials.

But again, I feel bad for complaining about a something that is supposed to be great. I must be the too old. I’m 41.

Wonder if players in beta, could, if they have the time to, to LB and emblem these heroes. Curious to see how these stats go

Wow this blue legendary, Waterpipe, makes Lady of the Lake a puppy in comparison.

You could run Waterpipe and Lotl together

Well…

I got nothing. Will probably never get any of the 5*s anyway, so the 8 of them can just join the pool and I will happily click on their specials if I ever need to fight them

goes off to rest my tired brain cells

Seriously though, I wish these passives weren’t so potent. This is RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG at this point

Some people will see it as complaining but I think most will see it as an extremely valid point of view which is what the forum is for. I went down the rabbit hole of power creep which I know is the proverbial beating of the dead horse but whenever they release the newest heroes (which as you pointed out is all the time and in huge numbers) I am amazed at much stronger they are than the heroes released just 6 mths ago. It leaves me gobsmacked.

Hmm, Hammertusk is the better Franz for Titans and better for raids. Waterpipe is the better LotL.

For me the 3* are crazy for tournaments with their passive. 150 damage over 3 turns is for 3* way more heavy than for 5*.

Edelaide will be very good in tournaments and events as it gives twice more attack than Bertulf without the chance to Miss if the condition is good.

Are there going to be new coins for free pulls or we can use ones that are already in game?

There is a brand new coin for pulling, and unfortunatelly the summoning costs wil go up to 400 gems / pull.

I will add the topic soon once I could finish it and collect the data.

i do appreciate being made into a 3* hero. i wouldn’t have thought “minion summoner,” but i do appreciate that i have LotL-style minions.

In fact, I was wondering if there will ever be a green hero that reflects the red special. I have a yellow hero that reflects the purple special. Similar to ursena i mitzuko.

Nobody takes money from your pocket. You do.
