His design is terrible. Butterflies for no reason, he looked like he lost muscle definition. Then his tats are gone, so it looks like his normal ones were spray painted on.

Horrible design  Samoan Tarlak, looks like Meghan Markle and the Rock made a child after a drinking marathon and a few hits on the head

It’s that Moana god voiced by the rock, but diet

Outside the design disaster. Has anyone pulled this card and do you feel the terrible Tarlak is better than man Tarlak. I am thinking of taking him from FS around Jan.

This design - both visual and new special skills is so lazy and unappealing that I seriously think it was rushed in such a hurry that no one gave it a second thought.
If SG doesn’t want to think to much - just do overheal. No creative new special needed. They made so many overpowered heroes that do 1000-1200 damage that overheal is their only solution now.
Just dissapointing.

Costumed Tarlak is such a disappointment.
The art is a let down, I mean, he even stopped smiling himself…

Sure, the boosted health is nice. Tarlak has so low health that this actually equals 37%, or 30% fully emblemed and limit broken.

To me, the whole point of Tarlak is tile damage. He has insane attack values, (and is super-squishy), and the 100% atk up. I use him exclusively against titans, where he works very well. Now the made him into a tank. The flipping of the stats does not suit him or his purpose as I see it.
I understand the thought with staggered health, but I would rather just have it set. Also, I use him with C. Heimdall, so I went from 150% atk up to 130% - 150% - 160% - 160%. Agreeably more, but marginal effect.

Would use the original for titans, and don’t think he would get a place in my war attacks with C. version. A small stats boost is always welcomed, but 3-3-6-1% is low. Hope they can boost this to the “regular” 5-5-10-5% in the future. I mean, even Season 3 has this

I would love to get him and would gladly take his extra normal attack boost over the regular versions atk. stat.

For titans my team is already full up DD, EDD, Greg (just got Ratatorsk), Franz and Tarlak so even if I had c.Heimdall wouldn’t use him.

I also use Tarlak in events and here also would prefer the extra boost and boosted health.

If i was to get costume id still use regular version for me i think its better … Bit like © LOTL i choosed the regular and emblemed sorcerer instead of fighter … Tarlak is my choice in the FS too getting the costume is just to boost him a bit really

Thats what I am thinking too. His stats get better with costume.

These costumes that are copy and paste versions of the original hero are always lame.

Specially heroes because it’s just so predictable they will switch healing for health boost.

Not sure Im understanding all the hate…? Imo Costume Tarlak looks far superior than the original.

Boosted health is better than regen for 3 turns.
Normal attack special is 5 turns vs 4 turns
Normal attack increases by 20% each turn

I could see that the original is better for challenge events where the first two turns vs the costume could be better.

Turn 3 (without considering the attack stat) the special is equal.
Turn 4 - 20% increase
Turn 5 - 140% increase.

Over time the costume version will have a higher damage output. Please let me know if I’m not understanding this correctly.

Happy gaming

I also think C-Tarlak is better (overheal is very powerful + bonus stats). But his design is just so lazy that I can’t help to cringe.

Didn’t get him but I think it is 80%, 100%, 120%, 140% and 160% in 5th turn. So even better if this is correct.

Oops! You are right! Been feeling under the weather so my brain must not be working properly.
Let me try this again so its easier to read.

Comparison between the attack increase for each turn

COSTUME vs OG

  1. 80% vs 100%
  2. 100% vs 100%
  3. 120% vs 100%
  4. 140% vs 100%
  5. 160% vs n/a

Theoretically, turns 1-3 combined are negligible and are more or less equal over a large sample size.
Turn 4 is 40% increase
Turn 5 is 160% increase.

Even if the mana is charged again by turn 5 for the OG it is still 160% vs 100%.

There might be a case in challenge events where the OG is better because of the attack stack and trying to complete a stage with as few turns as possible. Otherwise the costume is far superior in other instances.
