Image Aether Power Description
rage Rage At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +15% attack, and a further 1% increase every time they are hit during 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Troop Strong Damage Modifier
This character’s Troops deal 100% more additional damage against weaker element.
This character receives 10% less additional damage from Troops of stronger element.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Great Frost Axe
  • Deals 200% damage to the target.
  • If the target is of Fire element, deals 450% damage to nearby enemies.
  • The target receives 447 Frost damage over 3 turns.
  • If the target is of Fire element, nearby enemies receive 579 Frost damage over 3 turns.

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique heroes of the same family

Super Elemental Family

Super Elemental family makes Mono teams even stronger.
This hero enhances Ice element.

  • One or more shields are enhanced to Power Gems each turn.
  • The amount is same as Ice heroes in the team. 5 Power Gems per element can be on board at the same time.

The Power Gem deal 20 damage to a random enemy each turn until it is matched. When Power Gems are matched , they deal 10 damage to a all enemies.

Ummm…It’s an interesting heroe but you need that rival uses a red heroe on his team and this red heroe can’t die before you atack.
I’ll wait more information about :thinking:

Zengar, unless he hits fire heroes, does just 200% damage and some frost to one enemy. Meanwhile Jequn does AoE of 200%. And hands statuses to all but holy heroes who are partially screwed by gems. At Very Fast speed.

This batch of heroes is quite bad. The passive (which is on other elemental heroes that will probably show up in Covenant at some point if one does not like feeling to gamble with elemental portal) is only thing going for them. Compare them with LNY heroes or Hippo or whatever.

Don’t understand why this hero is designed like that. I hate to be that one guy, but just don’t bring fire heroes. Or if you have BK, just have him tank the hit. If it was against nature it made sense
Or if he has a stealth buff, they make him damage all

the polar opposites have always been ice, never in between
The most popular/strong/ fan favourites ones are ice heroes: Miki, quintin, athena, alasie, M&M, waterpipe, the new guardian hippo
And the worse heroes all seem to come from blue as well: klaern, balur, exeera, porthos, russula

Not really. At time there were strong heroes of ice like Vela (pre-nerf), Miki, Iris too. Meanwhile fire got short end of stick with Noor and Reuben. Funny thing is now Ice sucks with Klaern and Balur while R&N is best HotM by far in a while and Tahir was also nothing to sneeze at.

Moral of the story: SGG’s ideas are probably dictated by RNG like the rest of this goddamn game.

Also, now I realized Zengar is one letter off from Gengar. Seems like SGG was looking Pokemon roster for name ideas.

It was half joke. I have no idea who the developers are and how their decision making works. I just got amused by the coincidence of having two back-to-back very weak Ice HotM and now the Ice heroes from the Elements Contest being worse than the Nature and Holy ones

Yeah, some of these heroes look really unhinged. Zengar looks like he creates crystal of something that is definitely not ice.

Didn’t think Jequn would be the most normal looking one (and that elemental gloves of his still look weird on him).
