New Santa’s Challenge (Christmas) Hero is released: Zappa

dodge Dodge At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% chance to dodge Special Skills that deal damage for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Blue Shroom Wand
  • Deals 350% damage to the target.
  • Summons an Elf Minion with 10% HP and 10% attack inherited from the caster.
  • The target receives 531 Frost damage over 3 turns. This effect spreads to nearby enemies.

Christmas (Winter) Heroes now all have a family bonus for unique heroes of the same family.

Winter Family
Bonus for 2 / 3 heroes:

  • +2% / +3% health for Minions
  • +5% / +10% attack for Minions

  • Minion HP is increased from 7% ot 10%.
  • Forst damage is increased from 474 to 531.

I agree on that! Even I was lucky to pull 5* stars hero on ongoing event which never happend before, can’t really be excited cus it looks very “simple”. Not a single passive skill, not much of a shooter, not much of an over time damage. It seems that they were trying to do something in between and the result is not very satisfying. The stats are good though, can’t deny that! Don’t get me wrong I am happy to have him it’s just that they could have made him so much better like the other new heroes.

It would be nice considering his the low initial hit, that his damage over time part becomes undispellable.
And I also miss the passive.

His artwork is one of the best I have seen in a long time.

The older seasonal heroes (Springvale/sand empire/Christmas) do not have passives, except morlovia. Only the new gen seasonal heroes have them

Has anyone actually used this hero? I think he’s pretty promising as a v fast DOT spreader

As I tested on on lvl 70, First effected hero gets 3 turns, nearby bets 2 turn, last affected get one turn.
Suggestion for the #developers: When he spreads his frost dot, make it reset the duration on new (unaffected) heroes (not the already affected or it would be everlasting).

Got him at level 70, but “still” not sure if he is worth giving the scopes.
I have also never seen him in action ever when looking for him in raids/wars/etc.
How is that possible?!? Been looking hard on since pulled him myself.

I am also not able to find him in anywhere on YouTube video on other places online where people have actually tested him or fought against him. It’s not a good sign.

Have you leveled him up to at least level 80?
If so, could you post a video about him of share your experience when leveled with emblems? :slight_smile:

The DOT should have adopted a lady locke style DOT, were it starts from a small amount and increases overtime. For spreading DOTs, this will ensure the amount of DOTs spread to all enemies are maximised
It’s a shame how hard he is to get because I would have loved to get him

Besides of what have been said I think that Zappa worth the scopes. At first I went the attack way on emblems but after several fights with my teammates I discovered that he fell after tree cubes from mono team. So I rearranged the emblems on defense way and the damage he tooks went down by 120 points, so he endured 4 cubes. The attack points are compensate by the troops, so for me personally is more important that he will live enough longer to strike twice than just once.
Maybe you should reroll more, cus he is on my defense team as a tank :))

i have this guy but i haen’t fought against him and am not sure whether to level him up or wait

are yous saying that you took FOUR gestalt cubes and survived or are these alfrikan ones? and you did all defense on emblem?

i like underdogs and not commonly used heroes and if he is a good one to level i will put him out on the field!!!

Well, no. With mono team power 5,4k still fells with three cubes, but i think that if LB is applied - he will endure!
