They actually don’t take team power into account. It is purely based on flags. You can be given any team that is within 300 flags of you. (There is also a re-roll button that you should probably use liberally until you have a way to deal with Miriam and Midnight – I have about a 30% success rate with them myself – and Anne – who will really wonk you if you can’t take her quickly.)
On your team composition, I have no idea what heroes you have, but three very fast snipers is probably not the best choice in today’s meta. Even a Hu Tao or similar would give you a bit more of an edge.
Sorry but I’m not sure what’s going on in your pic/situation? Is it the disparity between the teams? How many trophies did you have vs the other team’s?
Thanks.
Actually isn’t Titanslayer’s team the one with Anne and Midnight?
I think he’s complaining about losing to a team with a TP of 1000 less than his.
With mono, anything can happen!
Just a very lucky board for the attacker, that’s all. Nothing to see here.
But what’s the issue? They’re both Level 94. Seems like the opponent made a strategic move to use a mono team that would be effective against the on-paper more powerful team?
So I don’t understand the problem???.
I think none of us understand the problem right here. Maybe the OP is just venting his frustrations.
Ah okay. Thought maybe I was missing something like a bug or error.
There is no problem.
It’s mono, and jackel has very high attack. They probably killed khepri first then wrecked havoc with waddles. Weakest link is ironically Horus
Well, he did loose 91 cups in one match, so that’s what probably got him a bit angry.
It’s not in one match, it’s for ALL the attacks he received while he was offline! We can even see his defense won at least two matches.
Ah, I just checked and you’re right. It’s the pop-up screen with total points lost, not for the individual raid. Still not sure what’s the big deal here.
Think it’s that his account lost 91 trophies to an attack team that’s way lower TP wise, and had 4* in it. It’s like a “double slap”.
I wonder if my various challenges and experimenrs with 2 heroes or 3/4* teams have resulted in any rage quitting. Wouldnt have thought so before but now not so sure…
Overpowered heroes help of course, but it is the board in this game that is the biggest opponent.
Exactly that.
@Homaclese thats your answer.
I did experiment in my younger game days.
Underpowered, wrong colour mix, wrong mana speed mix, mono, 3-2, 4-1, 2-2-1 (No rainbow)… as long as board is good or okay, and attack team survives long enough to do their thing, higher chance to win.
Those were the days without passives and op heroes.
Current game meta: it’s the board.
I did a “wrong” 3-2 combo for one of those Op defences and won BECAUSE the starting board was simply overwhelmingly in my favour.
No other reason. I actually expected to lose.
The OP is upset that his brand new, most likely expensive heroes, lost to a team he feels is beneath him. Perhaps a lesson could be learned here about real life and transferred into the real world…
Well, sometimes teams including only vanilla 5* manage to wreck my shiny defensive setup. If they get a good board, you’re screwed. Same thing in attack. C’est la vie.
