Yes, 19-8 has four waves whereas 19-5 only has three so on paper, the former is better.
I am not done with the Apeps yet but I am running 19-8 when I have nothing else to do with my WE and planning on farming 10-4 after that.

Sorry guys, I wanted to check yesterday where to find those and do a theoretical table (like I did for the previous set) to find out the best stages for them but didn’t have time (already did my featured heroes of November forecast).

Crocodiles are available as early as province 1. Just gotta see what level has the most of them, once I finish normal and hard mode.

After playing Normal Mode these are the stats:
Raging Undead Mau; 6/95
Crocodiles: 63/800
Bosses only in Province 22
Enemies not (!) in Province 22

Anybody find a level that has both? 
10-4 have both the undead mau and hyenas if you are not done with them

I might be wrong, but I don’t think there are any levels with both the crocodile mob and Raging Undead Mau boss on. 1:4 is giving me good returns for crocs. 4 waves with a guaranteed 2 on the last one at 6 WE. I have no idea if it is optimal though

I’ve been using 23-6 for crocs just because it’s a new level. 4 waves, 2 crocs in the final wave.
Doubt there’s a level with double Raging Undead Mau in the final wave

Based on my data, there is sadly no level with both.
I recommend farming 1-7 for Crocodiles (highest level with lowest energy, with 4 waves, and 2 guaranteed mob) and 10-10 for the Raging Undead Maus (highest level with lowest energy).
The reasoning behind “highest level with lowest energy” is to maximize food/iron/XP profit in the process.

For those who haven’t finished the hyena mission (like myself…) most of the province 10 stages have both hyenas and maus.

I finished Apeps and am on Hyenas and Maus. Using helpful thoughts from @Elioty33, I did ten runs on each stage and found 10-4 is the best for combining them. I did another 10 runs on 10-4 and got 6.2 more Hyenas per flag so I’ll be farming there until I finish Hyenas.
