Costume Bonus

Leveling costumes gives attack, defense, health, and mana generation bonuses for the original and costumes version of a Hero.

The bonus is varies based on hero origins.
Right now there are 2 kind of Costume Bonus percentages see bellow.

Season 1 heroes, Legendary Legendary Legendary Springvale heroes, Challenge Festival Epic heroes

A fully maxed costume (including maxing special skill too) gives these amount of bonuses:

• Attack Bonus: 5%
• Defense Bonus: 5%
• Health Bonus: 10%
• Mana Bonus: 5%

A fully maxed primary, secondary and toon costume (including maxing special skill too) gives these amount of bonuses for Legendary heroes:

• Attack Bonus: 17%
• Defense Bonus: 17%
• Health Bonus: 22%
• Mana Bonus: 5%

Affected heroes

Some Legendary Season 1 heroes have a tertiary (Toon) costume.

A fully maxed primary, secondary and toon costume (including maxing special skill too) gives these amount of bonuses for Legendary heroes:

• Defense Bonus: 50%
• Health Bonus: 70%

[Stanmart]

After upgrading costume of Mother North fully with 20th level of emblems I noticed that bonus isn’t 5-5-10-5, how I used to see on all other costumes. Instead there is 2-2-4-1
WTF, is that new stats for recently made costumes?

It is. Only the Season 1 heroes get the 5/5/10/5 costume bonus.

Yep. The new costumes bonus is a lot more minimal due to them being good heroes already. S1 need more love so get bigger boosts.

It’s about as fair a thing as they’ve done recently tbh.

Challange event Heroes, Hero of the Months, Sand Empire Heroes, Season 2 Heroes

A fully maxed costume (including maxing special skill too) gives these amount of bonuses:

• Attack Bonus: 3%
• Defense Bonus: 3%

• Mana Bonus: 1%

This is confusing that if the Challenge event Heroes will get 5/5/10/5 or 3/3/6/1 bonus.

Does you mean that only Challenge event Heroes in the list will get 5/5/10/5 bonus and who isn’t in the list will get 3/3/6/1 bonus instead ?

If yes, it will be great to add some more description about this.

I can’t find any information of buff Challenge event Heroes costume.

@Petri I think. It’s unfair if Season 2 5* heroes only get costume bonuses under season 3 5* heroes.
5* hero season 2 must get 5/5/10/5 costume bonus like 5* season 3 hero costume bonus.

They are buffed in Version 47:

Just noticed that Season 3 5* heroes get the same costume bonus as S1

I hope this means that they will buff the Season 2 5* heroes quickly. Very strange that S2 should have a lower costume bonus than S3.

Personally C.Ariel is one of my favorite heroes, so would appreciate the leg up

I have a fully ascended Athena as well as the costume. Nevertheless it’s costume bonus message shows not the usual 5/5/10/5 % bonus but 3/3/6/1 % which I find quite odd.
I don’t know if it is just the message or its really a bug that affects the stats of my hero.
Can you help clarify this?

Different families of costumes all have different amounts.

The HOTM version is as you have as are the Halloween ones for example.

The best base versions are S1 & Challenge event costumes. With S1 Double costume the best overall

Yes, it would be good.
Earlier it was tested in Beta, but Staff decided to no release that into the live game unfortunatelly

As the question says, would like to know how the double costumes work, with respect to the costume bonus?
For e.g.-
If I have C2 Leonidas, do I need to ascend & level all 3 versions to 4.80 so as to get the full costume bonus?
Or
Do I ascend & level the vanilla version & C2 version (both) to 4.80?
Or
Do I just ascend the vanilla version (& don’t level it up to 4.80) & ascend&level the C2 version?

Any help appreciated.
