:bomb: Special Game-Play - Puuko Bombs and Puuko Storm

The Puuko Bombs shields are appearing randomly and they can be used in attacks.

They are start to count down from 3, and they deal these amount of damage to your heroes once they reach zero:

  • Rare: 65 - 90
  • Epic: 90 - 105
  • Legendary: 110 - 120

If you Match five of them, them you fill up the Puuko Storm meter, which you can Activate any time (auto play fires it automatically), and it deals damage to the enemies, and lowers their defense.

Exact quote from the game about them;:

 Rare, Epic and Legendary Modes

There are three Modes for the Seasonal Event — Rare, Epic and Legendary.

:triangular_flag_on_post: Stages

Like other Seasonal events there are 20 Stages per Difficulty Mode.

There are a total of 60 Stages across the three Difficulty Modes.

Unlike other events you must complete Rare before you can start to do Epic stages, and also you must complete Epic too before you can start Legendary.

You need to complete the Stages one by one in order, and you can not replay alreadt completed stages.

:no_entry_sign: Hero Restrictions

It is also a difference compared to other seasonal events that there are hero, troop and battle item restrions in each tier:

Difficulty Hero Troop Battle item
Rare 3 star or lower 2 star or lower 2 star or lower
Epic 4 star or lower 3 star or lower 3 star or lower
Legendary 5 star or lower 4 star or lower 4 star or lower

:repeat: No Replaying Completed Stages

Unlike Challenge Events, Seasonal Events don’t allow replaying a completed Stage — much like how Quests work.

Once you beat each Stage, it’s locked, and once you beat the entirety of the Seasonal Event, you can’t play any more.

If you fail at a Stage, you can retry as many times as you’d like, up until the Event ends.

:star2: Epic Hero Tokens Can Be Used for Seasonal Summoning

The Seasonal Summons replaces the regular Epic Hero Summons.

Because of that, unlike Challenge Event Summons, the Summoning Portal for Seasonal Events allows using saved up Epic Hero Tokens that can otherwise normally only be used for Epic Hero Summons.

That makes Seasonal Events the only place you can currently use Epic Hero Tokens for a chance at non-Season 1 heroes.

You’ll also have the same chance at the HOTM as usual when using Epic Hero Tokens. As the event crosses both June & July you will have the chance at both the June and July Hotm.

:left_speech_bubble: Share Your Teams & Results, and Ask Questions!

  • Many players will switch up their heroes used for each Stage, based on the monster/boss colors — are there heroes you’re using consistently for Sand Empire?
  • Are there any Stages you’re having a hard time with, and would like advice on beating?
  • Are you using particular items to beat Sand Empire stages?
  • How do you find playing with the new Lamps & "X"s?
  • Do you have insights on strategy to share, or questions?
  • Is there anything about Sand Empire that you’re wondering about?

Thank you!!! Was looking for the map.

You uploaded copies of the same map. Missing the one with the enemy stats.

No rush. That map is good enough for most.

The rarity lock would ■■■■ lots of people off, especially those who don’t care about 3*s.

It is there:

There seems to be a discrepancy between the rewards chart and the picture version, namely, the star of blue aether of the final stage of the legendary level.

Ice Aether III = Legendary Ice Aether

So I do not see any difference in it.

You’re right, different understanding of the term, lol. My bad.

Oh I see what your noticing @BlackZed. @PlayForFun I think he means this all-in-1 is missing as it is showing two of the same guides:

Edit: there are Cap’s guides are also, thanks @PlayForFun.

Sorry, I have accidenty added the same image twice.

I have fixed it.

Yes, I have just talked to @cap, and @cap gave permission to publish those guides as well.

hello, here is the guide in Italian

Since players cannot use 4*&5* for rare and cannot use 5* for epic, the event strategy may become similar to a challenge event… Mono for the win.

Thx, I have added it to the OP.

Totally one of the upset people, I do end up doing all 3 labels but always start on 3rd level for better flag usage, why did they add the level lock on this!!!??

Hey, look what I just found!

I am finding Epic quite hard, I think a lack of decent emblemed heroes doesn’t help.
Legendary should be easier, I think

Thanks as always for the resources here! Very glad to see 2 warm capes in the reward lineup… those will be going straight to finishing off c. Finley :tada: :wolf:

So far i have 2 comments about this event.

1: its a pain that it has to be completed in order. I like flitting between different difficulties depending on WE and general mood.

2: Why are the Pike on land? They are fish. I know there are many weird and woderful mythical things in this game, but i think i draw the line at land fish!

I like forcing each tier to be played by heroes of that star level. It’s rather boring going through the early tiers with OP legendary teams.

This is the only thing I don’t really like about the event. In the circumstance that I play events these days, I play Legendary first and work my way down as I feel inclined. This helps maximize the time I spend in-game.

Forcing us to climb up the ladder means wasting a player’s valuable time gathering silly rewards to unlock the rewards we’d rather be playing for.

So a small but pleasant surprise: along with the event being completed in order, there are different scenes upon starting and finishing every rarity

I don’t think it’s a big benefit, and I know most don’t care about the story, but I wonder if that was the reason for forcing the event to be done in order

I absolutely LOVE fact that story cutscenes are different for each difficulty tier!
