With Farholme Pass coming up I will finally have the Damascus Blade I’ve been waiting for to ascend Zim. My current war defense is Freya 5, Joon 19, Telluria 18, Vela 18, Liana CB 17. So my question becomes, do I insert Zim and give her Freyas emblems and move Joon to left wing? I don’t see Zim much which is most likely due to the sharing of emblems with Vela. Any input is appreciated.

I hate that defense. My monogreen has a lower success rate with @Uclapack’s kind of defense instead of the usual GTV defense core. She previously used Vela before but stripped her the druid emblems in favor of Zim

Thanks for the input guys but my only other decent red is Elena 18 so I’m not sure that would actually work? A slow hero even with the Telly mana delay doesn’t seem to fit these days.

Zimkitha plus gravemaker have the double elemental link which is nice but Zimkitha just on her own isn’t bad either. The attack boost is great and the cleanse is nice especially when most people attack telluria with gm. Vela is getting weaker all the time with all of the new heroes that come out that throw her dot damage back. I prefer Zimkitha over her on defense even without double red

So you would take the cleanse and attack boost over the extra damage against fire and DoT? This is only for war defense so I’ll most likely only face two red stacks per war (I’m in a two member alliance) facing 4400-4600 teams on average. Strong teams but certainly not top 100 type rosters.

I think the key to beating GTV is cleansers and people are starting to realize all they need is a costume rigard to stay alive. Grazul and zimkitha also work nicely. They released lady loki and the mystery man who throw the dot damage back. Gazelle and malosi are great counters as well. There are a lot of options now and it seems that a lot of players have figured out how to beat GTV now. Zimkitha is a wildcard. Not many think of her as a defensive hero but she is hard to kill. Paired with gm, I’ve seen splash damage of 500+ in attack wars. I know from my experience the double reds performs much better for me in defense than GTV did.

If i had more druid emblems I’d run both since i dont have gm
But with 2 zims maxed and 1 vela maxed and all 3 emblemed to 5 5 19, druid embs are tapped…
Zim has always been decent on defense imo. She’s just never been gm.

KingofSpam in our alliance uses both for war but his vela is at t14 and zim at t19…so he has a bunch of druids lol. It seems to work well for him.

I run this war d, works fine. Before that I ran the one with red hood, didn’t work too well interestingly. I think red hood is just a relic from the past 
when I maxed freya I gave her all of zims emblems, I think that was a mistake, but will get zim up again. The field aids benefit fast hit-all heroes imo, especially arrows, where the minions protect her and her relatively weak hit can get opponents over the edge. Attack+ suits her well too. 
i am not crazy, just dont have any fitting blue hero, no vela or finley, just frida and snow white. Master lepus would be my choice if i could get one, probably for freyas spot.

Lepus is good and you’d get the family bonus with Killhare but then you have another druid lol. Freya is not as bad as you’d think on defense but I do agree red hood is kind of a thing of the past

Dont think freya is bad, met her a few times flanking tell and it wasnt too funny when both fired. Yes, those druids, honestly i am thankful i dont have vela

That’s the conundrum. I absolutely love freya. And my current war defense almost never gets more than one one shot. I just know how beloved Zim is. I suppose it couldn’t hurt to try it because it’s only five talent spots and I have plenty of reset tokens. But the Freya Telly meat shield and defense up is stellar. It’s a tough choice indeed.
Freya is also my queen of autofarming
and hard Season3 Where I use these for nearly every stage
And yes @Uclapack red hoods best days are gone, but I owe her a lot, she was one of my first 2 5stars alongside Guin (game knew how to suck me in 
), making everything so much easier in my early days and I was the hero of my first alliance with my guin-hood war d back in the day

I have Zim @+11 before Vela showed up. Zim with Mitsuko and +20BT are the main part of the Telly attack team with good success. The other members are either +20 Mel with 13 Evelyn. the green get chawed out for +19Sabrina w/ +9Seshat, or +16c-Viv w/ drake or cJoon

This is my do everything team. I only swap Freya out for Evelyn on certain tanks and change Lianna to costume when I do that. It’s astonishing how well it performs. Once the minions are up, it’s as good as over.

would choose the vela-zim version. but i am no fan of pure snipers on war d, other heroes profit much more from 2/3 field aids. if they wouldnt be all druids i would run all 3, vela-zim-freya. your snipers are bumped up of course
