My defense now is from left - Seshat, JF, Viv, Clarissa and Joon. I don’t have ice 5*. I have 2 nature 5* but no talents because they are both (Evelyn and Elkanen) same class as Sesh and Viv. Marjana will be maxed soon with talents. So what would you do? I’m thinking replacing JF or Clarissa with Marjana. Or should I leave it like it is now? Thanks a lot for your help.

Tough call, but if anything, I’d put marjana on right wing instead of joon. While you do have Clarissa in between viv and joon, I’d still stack purple against your defense. This might not change much even if you swapped marj in, but if you have emblems for her, her rogue talent makes her a PITA on wing and she is sturdier than joon by design.
If you’ve got any highly emblemed, costumed 4*, you might want to play around with those, given they are essentially 5* equivalent stats-wise and may have better synergies with your other defense heroes

Thanks for your input Sing. Don’t know about Joon. I find him very useful. Him Viv and Seshat are the ones that are staying put for various of reasons. I have lots fully amblemed 4* but Evelyn for instance is still better than any of them.

I would leave JF in. Works great as flank in a defense. As an aside, going sword path when you apply emblems to him really makes his DoT dangerous especially when the 20% bonus is added on defense. I would leave Clarissa in as well.

What blue heroes do you have?
Also, while you may not have emblems for Elkanen or Evelyn (yet) that doesn’t preclude you from using them in your defense. IMO, having a rainbow defense is harder to beat even if it include unemblemed heroes versus a stacked defense since I can stack the opposing color.
Finally, I recommend that you start thinking about offense since Your Defense is Already Good Enough.

I only have grimm fully talented, other 4* blue (boril, sonya, triton and kiril) are all maxed but no talents coz my main team are all same class. So you recommend I put grimm and evelyin in defence? Them being best blue and green in my roaster I guess.

I wouldn’t agree the Grimm is better than Sonya, but I do recommend inserting Grimm and Evelyn. Grimm has attack down and Evelyn dispells buffs.

Thanx a lot for your input Ric. Don’t you think it’s a bit unsafe going without a healer? I might as well try that. I’ll let you know how that panned out.
