Yes, return damage to normal, bring speed to average. Give in to the dark side.
So with all of the nerf/do not nerf Telly and Vela, I think I have a solution. Just add a normal damage bonus skill to Margaret. Even just +50% would make a huge difference. Could even just be for green heroes. A very fast green hero that gives you an improved chance to take out Telly without bringing red would go a long way. It would also make Margaret relevant and inspire people to dust her off (if they didnât feed her to Telly in the first place).
Beta Update
A fourth round of balance changes have entered Beta:
- Horghall:
- Direct damage changed back to original.
- Khagan:
- Direct damage changed back to original.
- Queen of Hearts:
- HP inherited by minions increased from 13% to 16%.
- Guardian Kong:
- Dispels status ailments from all allies added.
- Margaret:
- Increased minimum dodge probability from 20% to 30%.
- Guardian Owl:
- Attack and Defense changed back to original.
- Direct damage increased from 235% to 280%
- Damage increase per dead ally decreased from 60% to 50%
The Small Giant Staff have also indicated that there will be no more adjustments for Gormek, Horghall, or Khagan, and have closed feedback in Beta on those heroes.
Iâm updating the top post of this thread accordingly.

I guess Khagan is just too OP right now
Kong as a cleanser might be worth giving Rings to now since I missed on Zimkithia!
Vote for Margaret
Extra damages to Blue hero like GM and Clarissa.
Oh wow, sounds like bringing my G. Kong up to 3.70 was a good idea after all.
For Khagan this buff wass not effective he must be average to be desirable
#buffNeith
Of course, why would they buff khagan and horgall when those two are easily attainable in tc20. Whereâs the profit in that? We should either spend on their costumes or spend on special heroes. Which is why only the special heroes were buffed, its obvious.
My sentiments exactly!
I mean, youâre not wrong!
This seems like a non-change (almost), right?
Telluria is protected from minion removal if I recall correctly, so this means his bouncing hits will continue after hitting a hero like that, even though the minion remains.
Otherwise he is unchanged, right?
Right!
20 characters
What I understand, maybe a sample like this:
Opponent only have 2x Telluria and have 3 minions on each.
CD cast⊠then one Telluria minnions should be destroyed (3xminnion destroyed), and the 2nd Telluria can still remain 1xminnion if HP is left. It does not because of resist from destroy minion, it is because CD continue hit until there are no minnion left from one of those 2.
Wow! Kong doesnât quite look like a dirt clod anymore!
I kinda hope he gets another tweak or two upward, but this is a huge jump in a good direction. If heâs acting as a cleanser now, Iâd like to see his defense boosted a bit so he doesnât look like a glass cannon
Hold up a secondâŠ
Yesterday, Atomos got bumped to average
Today, Khagan and Horghall (lame heroes) got their buffs removed
Are they tiptoeing, observing feedback, and thinking about maybe taking Khagan and Horghall to average? If so, then yeah, bring it on! Maybe bump Khaganâs damage down some if youâll do that, but yes, a mana speed bump would help. And maybe bring one for Justice too. I mean, really. Sheâs very nearly as bad as Atomosâs current form. People are still requesting buffs for Neith, and Neith is leagues above Justice if you ask me
Average Horghall would make an excellent tank. Khagan with average speed would be worth a lot, both would require atacking decrease.
G.Kong becomes a great hero with cleaning
Wow, I gave Guardian Kong the rings before the buffs and heâs almost maxed now. Damage buff was a nice gesture, but the cleanse is simply great. Hope this buff sticks till the end.
So does this mean that Gormek, Horghall, and Khagan wonât have any changes made in the balance patch? Or just that no more testing is being done on possible changes for them?
