Donβt get too attached
Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, donβt tend to be very reliable for actual release.
Itβs incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.
So I wouldnβt get too attached to any of this β itβs not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.
Max Health reduction update
When a Hero reduces an enemyβs max health, it now also removes all boosted health from that enemy
Tome of Experience update
Tomes of Experience no longer remove Ascension Material requirements when leveling up Limit Broken Heroes
Using a Tome of Experience will instead give you a certain amount of Trainer Heroes
Food, Iron and Experience costs will still be fully covered

Most of the balance changes are stat increases to five star heroes. Some big names like Aramis, Hawthorn, Ogima, C.Guardian Panther, C.Alasie see some small nerfs in here too.
But here are four that will effect me

Just threw 5 of the double limit broken heroes in a team at random and got a team power of 6205. This will make any match making reliant on power factor in these new family bonuses.

Why do I even bother with this game still, oh cause I play with people I know, this is absolutely ridiculous they couldnβt get swept into a massive stat change like these other heroes and touch specials one a one by one basisβ¦ Not to mention the order is completely backwards, the older heroes need a larger buff than the newest.

I understand that ascension material requirements are no longer mitigated by Tome of Experience.
What about limit break materials, such as needed for advancing 89->90?

Great way to add some nerfs to heroes not really that strong, ie fortuna. Actually very disappointed in most of this. Just solidifies that we should cease spending due to the consistent unknown. They nerfed cleaver too and he was really not a threat. Just plain sad

They murdered my Furdinand and Rhys.
From what I can see, their objectives for this balance update are:
-Increase the gap between 5* and 4* heroes, which LB2 would have eventually reduced.
-Increase the gap between costume bonus and non-costume bonus heroes. If a hero had a costume, they didnβt get buffed, only the costume bonus did.
-Shifting the power balance between C2 heroes, C1 heroes and newer heroes without a costume, in favour of newer heroes.
-Addressing some problematic heroes here and there.
In short, new heroes werenβt standing out enough, being comparable to older costumed heroes and LB2 4*. It was indeed an imbalance update.

This seems to be mostly legendary heroes seeing a stat bump, so this would effectively make rare and epic heroes less valuable.
