Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this β€” it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Was hoping Fortuna would get her dispel back…still holding out hope :innocent: as she had already been nerfed once upon release

Excited to see a change for Boss Wolf but I wish they sped him up. Not sure this will move the needle for anybody but it’s a step forward.

Glad to see that Gazelle and Milena are reversed, and also I’m fine with the other revisions as well, but those two are big ones for me personally.

Also, the buffs to Boss Wolf and to Sargasso are actually genuinely decent! They may be small, but it at the very least makes these heroes slightly more relevant.

Certainly doesn’t compensate for some of the other adjustments that I’ve no doubt other people will be ranting about shortly :stuck_out_tongue:

NOTE: I am basing this solely on the adjustments between Beta 1 and Beta 2 - my comments on Beta 1 are already noted in the previous post/thread

Well a step in the right direction, we need more than 3 balances to old heroes based on all these stat buffs to new lol… it needs a wholesale adjustment for this to not fall apart.

A few disappointments with Rhys & Fortuna - those 2 have bad nerfs still.

Furdiand owners, what are your thoughts? Cleanse or damage share better to have?

@PlayForFun i know you’re busy with the new content, but is that correct for Black Knight’s attack stat to increase over 200 points? Seems abnormal for a hero to get a 200 attack increase.

I wouldn’t compare the two that much, Milena still has a lot of value in a cleanse/dispel mechanic, mana buff passive, and big damage.

Sure, with the proposed change to boosted health removal, it gives Camilla some extra value, but the Special Defence up/down is kind of meh. Boosted health kind of compensates for cleanse, I guess? But overall, they’re still two different heroes with different values/benefits to a roster

I’m wondering if Green Knight got mixed with Black knight in the communication? There was that for the water Atlantis hero.

She’s an old hero by this game’s standard. Nerfing at this point is bizarre.
