In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies receive 492 Poison damage over 4 turns.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Zombie Invocation
  • Deals 138% damage to all enemies.
  • All allies’s health boosted by 600 HP over 4 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.
  • All allies get +30% defense for 4 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.
  • All allies receive Zombie Blessing. If the blessed Hero dies in the next 4 turns, they will be reborn as a Zombie with:
    • 100% intherited health
    • 500 attack
    • 500 defense
    • Special Attack of Poison Bite.

She does not seems to be threatening at all… that’s why RNG chose me to get her :smiley: But nevertheless I finally got Chameleon which is absolutely nice.

I just pulled her, but I am unsure about her. The undispellable overheal is nice. Like a better Lidenbrock, but unlike Lidenbrock her first heal is always slow. I’m currently undecided on her for my next purple to ascend.

I have Xnolphod at 3.70 waiting on that tabbard we getting in this weekends event. Do I do ahead and final ascend or give it to MT & c.MT that I just pulled instead?

Xnolphod all the way. He is average and his mana boost is amazing

Personally I feel all the others are better than her.

Depends also what you need:

  • If you need very fast def down, then it’s C. Victor
  • if you need a dispeller first + snipe then Seshat
  • flexible cleaner and healer - Quartz
  • Lepiota is good all around with her ghosting

For me what makes this hero great is the undispellable health boost. Definitely an offensive hero. Her zombie affect could use some tweakingnl though. Like how about poison damage with a poison bite!?! Lol Also to truly be zombies would be if the zombie affect can be applied to an already zombied hero. Just keep them coming evry time she fires. Offensive for sure and would max her out but would bother with the emblems. What that little leaf gonna do in the long fight, not much.

Zombie blessing is unremovable as well.

Otherwise she is not as bad as everyone seems to make her look. Yes, the Zombie blessing isn’t very well thought off, but barring that overheal over time, raising defense and dealing damage to everyone isn’t much worse than Lidenbrock.

Except that Lidenbrock cleans before healing and her healing refreshes when you get a status ailment. Marie-Therese is not bad, but is not great either. I would rather compare her to Heimdall. Lidenbrock has a specific place in my teams when I attack ailment heavy teams. Marie-Therese is a general purpose slow healer over time + a few other gimmicks.

You’re right, Heimdall is better comparison as he’s more similar to her. Yes, she is not super-stellar but from votes I would have feeling that most consider her Guardian Owl tier than, say, Heimdall or Guardian Chameleon tier.

You make me curious about Guardian Owl now :smiley: I don’t have it, but I really wonder if it’s so bad as people make it out to be (except for the very slow speed which I agree it’s not reasonable).

I am just making a parallel with Boss Wolf which I encountered when I was in an alliance around 150k score and he seemed a very annoying tank back then for my beginner roster.

Never was sure about her. Always thought she’s weak.
She kinda does a lot of things but none with efficiency. Those zombies seems just trash, they’ll prolong the battle but won’t win any for you. Overheal and DEF buffs can be set faster with other heroes. That damage to all is what does her worth something.

Still, better than Quintus.

Except the attack is an advantage that MT has over PL. MT will boost heal undispellable, Zombie resurrection undispellable, and has a mean backhand to smack a target. I dont think she is comparable to Hiemdall just because of the attack. But i would say they would be nice to have on the same team. With Heimdall full resurrection of heros with attack buff and MT with zombie resurrection could have synergy there.

I would always prefer the clean (applied before healing, so Vanda’s effect is cancelled) to that very small attack for a healer. Plus Lidenbrock gives 200 initial hp boost, in addition to the HoT. And don’t forget the refresh for the healing when it receives status ailments This helped me so many times. Not to mention the initial 20% mana boost Lidenbrock receives on her first charge.

Whether it’s undispellable or not it does not matter since I don;t take Lidenbrock when there are dispellers on the opponent’s defense.

I don’t know what it’s so mean about her :man_shrugging:

I am not so sure about the synergy. Being a zombie prevents Heimdall’s revival.

I just pulled her as well. I have C victor and he is fully leveled and probably one of my favorite heros to use.

VFast and he steals healing, gives defense down, does stackable DOT plus he is rogue so he avoids some hits.

I’m very C2P so she will probably get leveled up.

It does feel like the heros who produce zombies or other wraiths are a bit underpowered compared to the revive healers.

Who would you rather have come back a zombie or a hero with 30% health that then fires off special skills.

Think they should have made it that Marie Tharieses special would also apply to her zombies so they could revive. Even if it was with less health each time.

Even without that im going to level her up for fast events
