special-armor Special Armor At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +40% defense against Special Skills for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:no_entry_sign: Resist: Resist Bleed Damage
This character has innate resistance against Bleed.
:hourglass: Ability: Mana on Buff Received
This character gains 5% mana when they receive a buff or a positive stack.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Falcon Screech
  • Deals 300% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies ae immune to new status effects buffs for 4 turns.
  • The caster and nearby allies get +50% critical chance for 4 turns.
  • Element Link gives all Holy allies +5% dodge chance for 6 turns. This effect cannot be dispelled.

The crit should have been extended to all allies say for 3 turns, Not bad though for Hotm!

Look like a decent hotm to me. I mean from my perspective where I expect every hotm to be utter garbage.

The mana on buff passive and the buff block on the enemies makes it interesting for PvP.

The crit maybe useful for lower level titan hits, just a shame it doesn´t crit all allies. Would have made a more interesting hero.

Got her with 4th costume pull.

Already done some test drive on 1/1 and in current meta she is much faster than avg because of the buff passive. She even gets 5% (or even 10%) mana because of her own 2 buffs on special.

300% dmg for avg is not that great. But probably she is rather fast than avg. Than it is still not great but oki-sh.

The biggest reason for taking her to fight is mostly for stopping enemies buffs.

And I like the animation of her special :grin:

I think one of the best HOTM lately.

She gives access to buff blocker to those that have no Timius, Sparklight or the like. And her color makes her great against Ludwig or Uwe.

I think she’ll be decent with Firmin Richard who gives two positive stacks with each cast, so that’s (or at least should be) +10%.

As most HotMs she needs correct heroes to work well but at least she’s useful, unlike some other cases I could mention.

This is a normal HOTM in the end, a little upgrade would have been nice but it’s still better than many other past HOTMs

If a hero doesn’t heal with 100% or do 1000% damage they are useless…but then when those heroes do that, they are too overpowered, so everyone needs to make up their minds.

It’s a case of “damnd if they do, damned if they don’t” - so no wonder the devs/bosses don’t listen to everyone :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I agree Not-She was good and useful in the beta. For a hotm/ her stats are all on par. The only real knock on this one is that the dmg to 3 is low for avg spd and adjusted health of new heroes. BUT, her design is a support hero, mana on buff sods her up and she’ll help her nb to do more esp for players who don’t have current damage adjusters like hornfel or pepper. If you get her , figure out where she sits in your needs and priorities but this is def a hero to be levelled and used for anyone that needs her skills

Agree that Aviana does useful things that most of us would like to have.
50% Crit boost is high level and two hitters next to her will hurt (high attack stat and multiple hits per cast will get the most benefit from Crit boost).
Buff blocking is hugely useful so she has a use case for a large % of the player base. Sure El Naddaha and Timius are objectively better at buff blocking but Aviana will get the job done although it may still be difficult to do so ahead of Hathor’s immunity to ailments.

Obviously benefits enormously from allies casting loads of buffs…she will LOVE buff booster tournaments.

The art is ok too which is a pleasant surprise after the new gargoyles.

My biggest hitter in yellow to this point:

  • c2Joon, 260% plus 240 burn Dot, to three, attack rating 1060 (20 emblems, 1LB)

This HotM:

  • Aviana, 300%, to three, attack rating 1001 (for no emblems or LB)

(and under most circumstances, with any kind of mana-boosting troops, Average and Fast aren’t much different functionally, much less if Aviana receives any buffs)

In terms of pure damage, almost certainly an upgrade, plus she does buff-block to three and crit-buff to ride in lieu of blind, plus she has passives.

Sure, like most HotM she’s not for everyone and certainly not for folks whose rosters are dripping with ConstructElfOperaGoblinChampion heroes, but she’s a pretty fair pickup for me.

Granted, she shares the vulnerability of all yellow heroes to being Owled, but that’s not Aviana’s problem; she still brings more boom than my existing yelllow (support) roster.
