I pulled her during costume chamber and I’m happy I did. She seems similar to Devana in some respects; beyond the average speed, hit-3 mechanic, she also has utility that’s more useful than the damage (buff blocking, much like Devana’s dispell, is great and not that common). I think she’ll age well because of it and opinions on her will grow more positive over time.

The issue most people have is that HotMs seem to use a much lower pool of power to draw from than any other hero releases.
Aviana isn’t strictly bad in a practical sense, but 300% is well under par for a fast hero, much less an average one.
Sparklight, at the same speed, does 135% more damage, applies a hefty vampiric-overhealing DoT, and reflects the buffs rather than simply negating them.
…and yeah, this is the Pride Month character, looks like.
I got her today, too 
Will level her up, my holy heroes are lacking so she’s definitely a welcome addition to my roster.

I think I will level her if I get her. She should get along very well with Shimmer with that Crit. More buff blockers the better when facing meta.

I would suggest that this comparison is not so much a problem with Aviana or HotM generally as it is with Astral Elves and the ever-accelerating power rush of “premium” heroes.
In general, there may not be a problem with über ElfConstructOwlOperaChampionGoblin-type heroes being somewhat stronger than HotM, but it’s another thing when they are effectively at least one full star stronger (if not more) than HotM or any other non-recent release.

You nailed it. Whatever SG does, its wrong. Not because it is really wrong, but because some here hate SG and really just want SG to fail. This has been going on for years and won’t stop.
As for this Hotm, i just don’t know, but i will level her, read post from folks who did the same. And then i decide on facts.

I like leadria to provide a meat shield over more useful minions… like waterpipe if you have her.
Zarga maybe if you have a team of barbarians and bleed giving heroes… but not sure that is worth building a team around.

2puttshaqur , what do you think of Aviana? I got her on day 1 and first considered her a decent yellow option, but on second thought…not sure. I got 2 - 3 heroes in every colour - except yellow and really need something good. Other option is Winnie. He would be great, if he wasn’t slow.

i think aviana is useful. Definitely against Ludwig tanks, but those aren’t nearly as prevalent anymore… I think she’ll more often than not be fast speed with her passive… I think she’s worth the feeders and ascension mats, maybe aethers, but she is a support hero more than a damage dealer.
