My second match was just awful. I was against Elena as the tank who went off before I could fire anything, and then their Hannah fired twice and so did their Guan Yu, I did kill Elena, but with suicide, knowing I would lose, so I figured at least take out one hero and get SOME points haha
Faced Red and Purple tanks today. Against Red tanks, used my usual raid team of Onyx - Khonshu - Hannah - cVictor - Cristobal. Against Purple tanks, the team was Onyx - cLeo - Eloise - Devana - Matilda.
Boards were great and won a lot of matches without the enemy firing any of their special. The single loss came in the last match of the day against this team.
Couldn’t get enough Holy tiles down the middle to kill Ludwig before he fired. Managed to dispel his taunt with Onyx and charged my Yellows, but the gap down the middle meant my Devana could only dispel one of the flanks. Chose Ma’at because I felt her damage was the greater danger. It came down to Matilda and her fiends Vs Tetisheri and Papyros. Got them both to the Red hp zone, but Papyros with the mana buff just kept summoning minions to absorb the poison.
Defense is A (1-0) despite no scary hero so satisfied so far
My defense
is performing unexpectedly well (I think it’s only RNG).
I lost one fight against this team:
The truth is that I lost on my own wish…
Many mistakes (again! ): Elena isn’t good choice against El-Nadda… Kara paired with Tahir gives two buffs not one… etc…
But there are also positives - My LB2Kvasir successfully made his debut at the 5* tournament

meeh I’m out soon. I can’t create a decent defense if I can’t use Sobek and my recently pulled Queen Guowang is still 1/1, so I put in a random defense… 4 red + Kara. doing bad 0-2. and it’s bloody battle 5*, my 3rd least favorite format after 5* and 3* rush so yay… not big expectations even before starting.
I risked and took Rigard instead of dispeller, hoping of killing Ursena before she fires. Bad board… I’ve killed three on the left and ALMOST killed Moreau and Tahir. But they’ve killed me completely.
I risked one more time and took Rigard. Bad board…
Ended with thorns-fight. Poor Chao…
It kept giving me yellow and green tiles when I wasn’t using those colours, then when I switched to using some green heroes, it gave me red and yellow. Absolute joke, but oh well
Great boards continued today. No Dark tanks so used the same 4 Purple - 1 Green team all 5 matches.
Got my 6 Purple tiles to start every time, and the main worry was more avoiding cascades, especially against the Bonecrusher and Khufu tanks. Only got into trouble in the 3rd match against that Bonecrusher tank. Easily killed the middle 3 defenders, but the wing Jove and Mistweaver fired at the same time, killing my Hannah and sending Onyx and Khonshu into the red zone. Fortunately, there were enough ghost lanes down the middle to charge up my Cristobal to snipe them off.
Defense was a respectable B (1-1) after the first day, and dropped a bit to C (2-3) today.

The strongest team faced today was ‘only’ 5400TP. I expect some crazy teams tomorrow. Good luck everyone!
