oh nice, I will finally get to use Ferant since obtaining him. I LB him but forgot about him because I did Jove and Jana, so he is just shy of level 81, so I will work on him now and try get him up as much as possible before the tournament starts on Monday.

What happens if I put Li Xiu next to Ferant, and her LB2 counterattack is up still when Ferant fires his special? Does Ferant replace Li Xiu’s?
All regular, no costumes today
Druids Minions for Caedmon + Ferant, and counter-attack for Li Xiu should hopefully help
I am still in the process of maxing Cyprian’s costumes, I have 1700 paladin emblems I can stick on him, I can’t LB1 him though, not enough Purple Aethers,. which is annoying because I have 4x Alpha Aethers to use on him (3 for regular and 1 for costume 2).
Mielikki is my biggest question. CKelile may be a better option. I’ve been impressed with Itham so far and am looking forward to seeing how he performs here.
Sadly don’t have Ferant or Mielikki and both my C Kelile and C Cyprian are still in the middle of leveling, so scraping up what I can with the idea of hitting back harder than I get hit:
This defense seems a bit slow for a bloody battle IMO… Especially Kalo, who even if he fires, he will mostly counterattack instead of destroying enemies. He just doesn’t fit very much for bloody battles, and certainly not for such a team
…but that’s just my opinion
Mielikki is a great choice (I’d love to have your champs), but she’ll waste her potential in a corner. CoD isn’t allowed, so Mielikki won’t be counterable quickly, and she effectively lowers Red’s attack.
Good start, but already quite tough tanks, but not defs as whole, as I faced some healers too. 2x Ferant tank 1 was even 2x LB already and Aodhan tank.
Against Aodhan I could only took only hero that destroys fiends I have, without a need to heal and it’s Wang Yuanji that also can’t heal lol, but at least she still destroyed fiends. I was able to fire her and destroy fiends after Aodhan fired the only time.
Against Ferant tanks, I took double superior wizard talent duo of C Gormek and C2 Li Xiu, seems to work well, also C Gormek helps in case there are superior druids too, comes in handy for sure. I also try to have 2x superior druid in my team, as I can’t use C Sonya, I actually use Caedmon 2x CB instead of his 2nd costume and C Kelile 2x CB as my superior druids. I do sometimes need a cleanse too if many def heroes can cast DoT or mana control of some kind and as I don’t have 2 Caedmons leveled yet, I can only change versions of the 1 I have leveled, so that’s a small disadvantage.
Matchmaker was kind today. None of the feared 2nd costumes. A couple of Mielikki on the flanks but cGormek handled it pretty well.
Faced all level 80 heroes in the last 2 matches, but the tanks were Melendor and Kashhrek
Used the same 2-2-1 attack most of the time. Waddles - cGormek/Sun Shang Xiang - cCaedmon - cKelile - Anastasia. Lots of minions as meat shields. cCaedmon was also my only offensive cleanser with cSonya disallowed. Only switched in my Purples Arges and Ametrine once against a cLi Xiu tank. Didn’t need to bring out Shrubbear today but expect that to change tomorrow.
Epic remains my weakest area in the game, though some key pickups lately (C2 Li Xiu in particular) are helping. I feel this the most in 4* raid tournaments where my matchmaking starts me at a lower tier because of the gap in roster strength. 5-0 on attack today, boards were kind. but only 3379 points. Hopefully if I keep winning that gap won’t matter as much!
I don’t have good heroes for this type of tournament, so I don’t expect anything spectacular. But I’ll try to do my best.
More luck today than skills, as boards were good and opponents’ defenses not tough. Only one c2 Li Xiu (on flank), some Gormeks and Ferrants, and one this W3K red hero with minions who burn.
I didn’t need to use Shrubbear (and it’s good, as I don’t have good heroes for green stack) and was attacking 3-2 with: Wilbur - cKelile - Cillian - cChao -Scoratek
