Which tank and healer to choose?

Hi everyone! I have a bunch of 4* heroes and I’m trying to figure out the best lineups for titans and weekly quests. I do raid a bit and am OK at it. My defense team used win a lot, now it’s about even.

Here’s who I usually play:

I like Melendor, but I read somewhere that Kiril was a top healer. So I when I got Kiril I started leveling him to replace Boril. That meant replacing Melendor with a DPS and making Gormek my tank. Although I see some people are using Kiril to tank? Mind boggled!

I replaced Melendor with Caedmon, but I have a bunch of other partially leveled heroes because I keep changing my mind! Could you help me figure out what combination would make a good titan and offensive team? Here are my other 4* heroes:

Dark: Merlin, Rigard
Holy: Li Xiu, Hu Tao
Green: Caedmon, Kashhrek, Skittleskull, Buddy, Little John
Blue: Grimm, Kiril
Red: Scarlett

I recomend to feed by color (greens to green, blues to blue, etc. etc.)

Leave Domitia for now, 5* are expensive and you should have at least 15 maxed 4* before working on 5*.

I gues you don’t have mats for Gretel, she is great and worth maxing ASAP.
After her you can work on LiXiu, she is pretty useful.

Rigard/Merlin is hard choice, both are amazing and both would be incredible helpful, I would personally focus on Rigard first because you have mana control in Gretel.

Finish Gormek, he is tanky and gives you def down.
After him max Scarlett, she is glassy but can hit really hard.

Kiril is awesome but I would finish Boril first, riposte combined with healers and mana control will let you beat almost everything, fights might take long but will be safe and quite easy.

I would max Melendor first (in costume version, its better). I know that you want dmg dealer but he can dispell like Caedmon and will let you survive a lot with HoT and defense up.
Buddy would be my second green to max, his hit isn’t very strong but -def, -atk and minions for 3 makes him very good and useful. You can max Caedmon first if you want, he will be very helfpul too.

With your current defense swap Melendor and Gretel.
Later when you will upgrade your heroes try

Melendor-Gormek-Boril-Rigard-Gretel

Most low level players will strugle with this team. (This team will be also good for everything else)

Against titans you want to take prefferably 5/4 heroes in strong color against titan. Best if you can include hero with -def and +atk.

Are you in active alliance? Titans are important source of mats.

@Radar1 Thanks for that reply, that’s really helpful!

I do really like Gretel, but I haven’t been able to ascend her in months and months, because I can’t seem to get more of those Orbs of Magic in any drops. I wasn’t playing a lot, so I was in a quiet alliance, but I recently switched to a much more active one. So hopefully I’ll see more orbs soon.

I hadn’t really considered Buddy because his attack was so low and his speed was only average, but you made good points about the extra benefits he brings.
