Which S3 hero are you most excited about and why? (Poll)

Both are solid for both Defense and Offense, so I’d pick based on preference for Offense, since you get to actually use the Hero there.

If I were personally picking and already had both, I’d go with Telluria, as I think she’s a little more versatile on Offense for War and Tournaments.

But if I were in your circumstance of having LotL already, and maybe getting Telluria later — plus having mats for a second in a couple of months like you do — I’d just max LotL now, and plan to work on Telluria in late March if I got her.

No, there will be only one Featured S3 5*, but there are also 5 non-featured ones.

Always better to focus on the bird in hand rather than the one in the bush. :). I think that’s good advice.

I think I’m leaning to wait till Sunday and doing my S3 pulls. Hopefully from Valhalla coins and see what happens. I may spend some of my gems to do a few summons as well. I don’t think I have the patience to wait till the end of next month for a couple more heroes to be added in without doing a few summons.

Waiting a few days is certainly reasonable.

It’s occurred to me that without WE Flasks or gem refills, it would take almost 100% of our WE while Valhalla is open to get to 300 Valhalla Coins for 3 Summons.

So I don’t anticipate any of us having a lot of opportunity to Summon from Coins — even if they gift us some for the launch, and there turns out to be an offer akin to Atlantis, with Valhalla Coins and gems.

So realistically, the options are extreme luck, using gems, or waiting.

Bjorn is the one I’m most excited about, he’ll be great help when Teltoc rolls around for my high score chasing.

Mist is the best 4* of the current group being released IMO.

I’m not really holding my breath for any specific 5* since the odds are just awful, but I like Tyr and Fenrir the most, Tyr slightly more.

Didn’t think about that in terms of WE costs. Good to know ahead of time so I don’t go into it and get disappointed. Seems like maybe the first round of Valhalla will really be limited to those who have gems to spend.

definitely looking forward to Bjorn for the same reasons. AND it seems possible to get him since he is a 3* lol.

What Zeph said lol

Take LotL to 3-70 and just wait to see if you get Tulleria.

If you get Tulleria take her also to 3-70 then play around with both & work out which is more useful to you at 4-80

LotL is one I really want to like. Having to deal with her minions in the event was a pain because of the mana reduction from them. I’m hoping I’ll enjoy having her as a playable hero as much I didn’t like facing her as an event hero lol

3* kvsir is my fave. The bee minions for everyone, on a 3* is nice. Honestly loved all of the 3* during testing thō.
4* liked both mist and Bryn, liked hem together even better.
5* once again all good, the one I’d want isn’t being released yet. So go with Freya or heim.
Maybe pull on the 1st. But telling e1 to wait till more heroes are available if you are wanting to get better odds.

Based purely on the math Telluria is the better hero , I rephrase more versatile he/she brings way more to the table although a nerf of the hero has taken place . I can see Telluia being a habitual pain in the backside for everbody that face it what with an inate ability to resist minion removal? Really !!!
( Thinking ahead now,)
Pairing Telluria with QoH or PiB what then ? Minion Hell Minions that won’t die ?
I can’t see any flaws there needs to be a natural adversary to this hero, personally I think Telluria is still overpowered, giving out minions freely to everybody, what sort of behaviour is that ?
If I where in your shoes I’ll lvl LotL to 3/70 and wait the few days to March to see if I get this Brilliant new hero

Quite honestly I am just gonna pull who I pull and work them into events and tourneys.

3* I like the elemental debuff so Nordri
4* I saw Mist’s description and couldn’t focus on the others
5* Heimdall probably the favorite but I’d be happy with most any of them

This is all about shiny new toys.
After a few times through S3 summoning portal ALL players will probably have several of the S3 3* heroes and I assume that I will too. Look forward to that even if Nordri makes my Bauchan less all-conquering.
The 4* intrigue me the most because the majority of them will add to/strengthen my team and therefore have a chance of being used regularly outside of Tournaments.

I was initially really excited about Heimdall, but after comparing him to the other two heroes that revive fallen allies, I’m not as excited. Mother North has a 50% chance and Alberich has a 33% chance of reviving fallen allies. With Heimdall, it’s only 20%, which is a bit disappointing.

Finally someone that thought this through. If a hero is slow and not meant to be a tank but revives 20%. It’s useless. Either burned to death by GM or does not revive anyone when cast.

yeah but isn’t the main benefit of Heimdall is that he gives 500 points of health that will temporarily increase the hp of all allies? also, even though his revive percentage is less, the heroes that come back come back with 30% health. MN and Alberich’s revived allies come back with much less health.

3* - Ei-Dunn: Clearly designed to be paired with Bauchan. Bauchan cuts enemy mana + buffs team mana generation, Ei-Dunn slows enemy mana generation. The pair will absolutely wreck face for 3* tournaments (especially rush attack). If both go off it’s pretty much game over

4* - Mist: Evelyn + Alasie in 4* yellow clothing. 'nuff said. (ok deals much less damage than either, but that’s why she’s a 4* and not 5*)

5* - Fenir: Inverse Kageburado, deals killing blow to already weakened enemies. (potentially some great synergy there with Kage delivering a 1-2 punch)

If you like Bauchen, you should look forward to Ei-Dunn for the reasons mentioned above.

Btw is it just me or is Stonecleave basically an upgraded Ameonna? At least the 150% damage to random enemy makes him a lot more useful vs Ameonna’s +65% atk.

Season 3 got launched today and I am eager to learn which heroes got you excited and which leave you cold.

The list:

Fenrir: blue 5
Bjorn: dark 3
Kvasir: holy 3
Nordri: blue 3
Freya: dark 5
Heimdall: green 5
Ei-Dunn: red 3
Tyr: red 5
Ratatoskr: green 5
Sumle: red 4
Brynhild: green 4
Stonecleave: dark 5
Mist: holy 4
By-Ulf; green 3
Mireweave: blue 4
Sif: holy 5
