Hi, I am letting my VIP expire so I will have around 2000 gems to spend.
As it stands now I have 4 5* to level and a number of duplicates in 4*.
This will keep me busy for a while for sure. Do I save my gems until I am done with the hero’s I already have or opt for a summons in some sort of event?
Well you’re not giving us a lot to go on. I’d save them for a ten pull on a portal where you don’t have many of the heroes, like a monthly event or Atlantis, especially if you don’t have the good fours on offer

The best way to spend your gems is on troop summons. People underestimate how important troops are. While heroes lose value due to metagame shifts or power creep, your troops’ value remain the same. For example, Ares in 2017 is not the same hero that he is in 2020. But your level 23 Red mana troop carries the same value in 2017 as it does in 2020 and beyond.

Never thought about troop summons to be honest. Some here on the forums did suggest I should level my troops. I started leveling them up recently. I see a 10 summons for 1600 gems.
