What have you learned from Path of Valor?

Like killing ducks??

Exactly. I always used to spare the ducks. Now the feathery little quackers are gonna get it.

Well. 15 of them at least.

I have to kill all 22 to forestall the survivors from seeking revenge.

Iā€™ve learned that raiding is not to be avoided. Before, I pretty much stuck to trying (desperately) to revenge only.

I have taken to using all my raid flags, as well a flask or two from my ever increasing stock. As a result I do a better job for my alliance in wars, and diamond level has even toyed with me a time or twoā€¦however briefly.

Not bad for only five months in.

That is very awesome.

I learned that I should have maxed a good handful of 3* heroes instead of focusing only on 4* and 5* because in order to hit POV milestone 50, you need to complete all three tiers in both Challenge Events. Ugh!

Hey @NPNKY, excellent advice. I shared that with my alliance. I have plenty of new players that try to hard to keep up. Trying to explain that you canā€™t make up time (unless you spend a fortune) doesnā€™t always get through. But your points are going to be very helpful to many.

@Math4lyfe, this one also took me about a week (or 3) to get into my sleep addled head. I wake with the IQ of a dishrag, and not a fancy dishrag :joy:

At least 3* are quick and cheap (and plentiful from the summons gate and TC20)

Not bad at ALL @Mamasan62!! Only 5 months in and flirting with Diamond? Well done and extremely impressive. Iā€™ll add your name to my ā€œre-rollā€ Rolodex

Iā€™ve learned a lot from everyone on this forum and those YouTube folksā€¦also, I have no life.

  1. No need to panic with any of the daily challenges. Most/all completely doable without altering gameplayā€¦well, other than finally getting something worthwhile for killing those geese/ducks!

  2. Lots of fun mercing small titans. Met some really genuine people along the way and have a fun merc group as a result that crosses many alliances. Lvls 40-60 involved so good cross section represented.

  3. Not every merc that pops in remembers where they started. Soā€¦be nice folks. Everyone started at level 1.

Please could the developers look at reducing the number of summons. These are ridiculously high for F2P players. Basically it forces to spend $$$$, on a second builder for that extra daily token or on gems for 10 x summons. I suspected that it would be just another cash cow for the devs and I believe that this has come to fruition.

I am hoping that this changes also. Thereā€™s no valor in spending

Iā€™ve learned to pace a bit better. Usually Iā€™m alright with pacing WE with all the events going on at a single time. I admit I did plow through the raid one in the first week, but paced with the others. The only one Iā€™m not going to finish is the tournament one (currently at 18/30). Iā€™ll still try but I should still hit 50.

With that said, itā€™s also helped me better utilize resources to accomplish things, manage items and crafting mats/items too. Itā€™s been fun and my alliance has used it to encourage each other and to help with titan/wars as well.

If the next POV is more ā€œtoughā€, I may take the advice of waiting to purchase the pass later if I feel more confident in finishing.

Sooooo true! I find myself checking first thing when I wake up in the morning!!!

  • donā€™t touch anything until PoV daily reset in the morning, thus anything is potentially a daily challenge.
  • I said donā€™t touch.
  • understand the special stage requirement.
  • confirm the special stage name ā€œby readingā€ before clicking.
  • Restart doing Scavenge Resources quest for collecting summons.
  • Try to complete chests on the clock so you have optimal chance to get various summon tokens.
