What do you do with extra troops?

I have been playing for more than 3 years and am lucky enough to have at least 4 mana troops per color. When i was starting, i levelled up 1 crit troop per color to go with my 4 mana troops (no ninja or magic troops yet). I have 2 mana troops at (at least 17) and 2 mana troops at 11, and then the crit troop is at 11-12 per color. So the 5 troops i have per color is enough for me to field mono teams if i want. My question is, what do you do with the other 4* troops? Do you still level them? Keep them around collecting dust? Or feed them?

Is there value in keeping troops 6+ etc?

Simply feed’em mate. No need to worry more about that.

You are indeed very lucky.
I think it’s better to wait with feeding. They do not take up space in the registry. It is possible that soon HA 19 will give magic troops or ninja troops.

My advice for what it’s worth would be to save them. It doesn’t cost you anything and you have the space to keep them.
Fingers crossed that something new in the game will come along soon that allows us to exchange surplus 4* troops.

I would cross 20 fingers for the appearance of volumes of experience for the troops.

keep only 5 in each color for mono purpose. those 5 not all necessarily to be high leveled. additional mana troop to lv.5 is enough to make emblemed heroes charged in 6 tiles in v.fast war

More recently, there have been proposals to get rid of additional 5* heroes… Are you doing this today?

Those surplus 4* mana troops will come in handy towards the higher levels. Climbing from 23 to 29 is painful.

I would store those surplus 4* troops and feed them away when “heavy duty” feeder troops are required.

4* troop 400XP
3* troop 200XP
2* troop 90XP
1* troop 40XP

Look at the ham savings that you can have when you start feeding them instead of 1/2/3* feeder troops.

I keep 3x of each mana troop, zero of each crit troop, and, so far, all of my ninja and magic troops. The rest I simply feed away. I eventually intend to level 3x mana, 1x magic, and 1x ninja of each color.

That what I do. 3 Mana troop is enough.

I feel that leveling up mana troops beyond 11 may be a waste of resources if and when i pull magic troops. Maybe i should then feed my crit troop.
