So I’m once again asking the brilliant hive mind here for help - would’ve given up a long time ago without this forum!
I’m in pain trying to choose between Elk and Groot for final ascension. Same situation with Leo and Justice. They’re all unpopular, I know, but they are what I have and I feel kinda bad for them getting so little love.
For blue 5* I have Frida (times 4…), for purple Kunchen, Domitia and Hel and for red Anzogh.
Once Kunchen is up he’ll tank my raid defense, possibly flanked by Frida at 3.70 and maxed Grimm. Hel, Domitia and Anzogh have a long way to go before being useful. If I raise either Justice or Horg (or both), they might flank instead. Or tank?? Elk and/or Leo would most likely end up in the wings.
4* on final ascension are BT (with emblems, my current tank), Caedmon, Gretel, Kelile, Grimm, Proteus. 4* on tier three are Hu, Li, Sumi, Danza, Boril, Sabina. Nice 4* I’ve yet to start working on are Jackal, Colen, Tiburtus, Melendor, Kiril.
An advice you may get here in the forum is to max out 2 rainbow teams of 4’s before starting on a 5* team. You may also want to start working on 5’s only if you are sure to ascend them to max and when you have 4-5 of the needed color specific mat like Tonics.
If I were in your shoes, I’d work on Sabina, Sumitomo, Jackal, Kiril and Melendor. These will deepen your all your raid and titan teams.
Don’t worry about your defense team for now. Kunchen to 3.70 and Hel to max if possible would be the right move for Purple. Frida to 3.70 then maxing a fast hero in the future may be the better move if you find a fast blue 5*.
Once you are done with all these, come back here for more advice and hopefully more options.
Thanks! Thing is, I started all wrong and focused on my 5s right away when I got the game (had some early lucky pulls). Then, after finding this forum, I took a break and worked on the 4s I like and use. Now I’ve got the mats to finish some of the 5s and it feels like as a good a time as any…
Kunchen will go to last tier very soon, I use him for everything. I like Hel but have Proteus maxed so don’t feel the need to rush her. Frida does a good job at 3.70. Maxed Caedmon can replace 3.70 Elk (better in some aspects, not as good in others) but I was thinking that maybe Horghall with his damage to all is a kicker with the lineup I’m considering…
Oh well. Think I’ll go with Leo over Justice and hold my horses on the green.
Groot is primarily a tank but you’ve already said that you’re going to use Kunchen as tank.
On that basis alone, Elkanen should get the mats as he can at least work in flank and offer more viability offensively than Groot does.
One surprising comment, you have Proteus maxed so not in a rush to level Hel… I’ve got 2 maxed Proteus and would quite possibly drop every hero i’m currently levelling to max Hel
Kunchen is no good in the usual healer corner position due to his slow mana(unless you’re going to go double healer) so really needs to be tank or flank…
Looking at your heroes i’d probably be more inclined to go with Justice or Leo in the centre flanked by Kunchen and Hel and two fast or average hitters on the wings such as Frida, Anzogh and Jackal.
Purple definitely seems to be your strongest colour so a yellow tank would allow you to field two purples in defence
I would recommend not to level these to max until you are confident.
With the rate of ascension mats dropping you can max 1 5 star hero of each color once per 4-6 months. You don’t want to waste that opportunity on something like Elkanen. Better to work on 4 stars, 3 stars even in the meantime. Worst thing is you ascend Elk and next week you pull Tarlak or Lianna and you won’t be able to get them to max potential for another half a year.
Again, thanks!! Heh I must’ve missed something about Hel… ofc I realize she’s awesome (and totally love Proteus), just didn’t see her that much better than the ol’ ribbon dancer. Kunchen will still go first, but she’ll be right next in line.
Yeah might want Justice to tank then… will hold off a while and give it some more thought. And will definitely wait with the green 5 (still missing a tonic too).
Hi jacking my own thread - would you guys go with Kunchen or Onatel as tank? Other available heroes for that setup would be Frida, Misandra, Joon, Sartana, Kageburado, BT.
Kunchen is slowly making its way atop the worlwide ranking. I am planning to do so too but the royal tabbard is very hard to get.
Any fast attacker with high d/h like Sartana and Marjana probably make a good tank too as they will be able to fire their special at least once.
Just like Gravemaker, Kageburado can be a good tank due to his very fast mana. Coupled that with a level 15 mana tank and boom!
