We are running purple tanks and fighting field aid this weekend. We need a win to open the chest. Please shoot me some suggested line ups as my defence hasn’t been great last few wars, but realize I’m our strongest player so I get targeted by their main guys a lot.

I would suggest:
Gravemaker - Onatel - Kunchen - Joon - Kingston
Yurple centre will stretch the effectiveness of colour stacking. Gravey and Kingston are both fantastic wings.
Yurple is nice, but I’d stack purple against that, which is usually hard to use in a purple tank war
My personal suggestion is Vela GM Kunchen Joon Kingston if you want rainbow

Since you have the infamous GTV combo, I’d honestly recommend foregoing a purple tank and just using the tried and true (if somewhat cliched) GTV defense ala Seshat-GM-Telly-Vela-Joon.
If nothing else this defense makes use of your highest emblemed heroes, and I really think this will perform better than if you tried to shoehorn a purple tank.
Unfortunately that isn’t the best thing for the team in high level alliance wars. Tank colour coordination is viewed by a lot of alliances as very important, some even have a front three uniform, or an all 5 uniform (eg purple red green blue yellow)
Alliance wars is a team game, and going outside of team rules is generally frowned on, and probably less effective even with a stronger defense on paper
Certainly valid points, but for some reason when I read the OP’s post, I didn’t get the feeling they were in an intensely competitive high level alliance with strict war and titan requirements.
I went with your selection…took 5 flags to take me down on wave 1…so very good start! Thnx to all who took the time to reply!
Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good! Certainly applies to me.
