attack-up Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

  • Deals 300% damage to target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies receive 396 Water damage over 3 turns.
  • All allies that are not of Ice element get +30% attack of 3 turns.
  • All Ice allies get +60% attack for 3 turns.

I think she is a really strong hero, but not a “must have”. The problem with trying to pull for her is that she will be featured with 2 post-telly hotm which in general aren’t that great. The only other current 5s hero I would attempt to pull for is cAriel and she was already featured last month. Its not worth it to try for her when 75% of the heroes featured with her would be a disappointment. I would rather pull in newer portals which have a higher % of good heroes to pull for. Also ranger is one of my strongest classes so emblems are hard to come by. I could see pulling here if you want costume wilbur which is easier to get, but I would rather wait for Oceanus to do pulls who is more of a game changer.

Not someone I’d pull for (especially now since I have grand total of one telescope and Zircon + C-Snow waiting in queue) but wouldn’t mind getting her either way. With that strength up, she’s titan attack material.

I totally agree im not spending gems whens 3/4 heros will be a dissapointment.

Found this on the top 100. Some players certainly don’t waste any time leveling these new heroes.

Her design is absolutely terrific. The whale behind her and that giant scythe. And seems to do damage that makes Vela jealous (though only on 3 targets, but that is enough to turn the tides - HA - of battle).

I feel like SG commissioned multiple artist to draw Vela with a description of what they wanted - sea goddess/sorceress, curved weapon below her, swirly bits, white hair, etc. - and they chose original Vela and then are using leftover art for Tethys. I don’t mean to say it doesn’t look good - it’s incredible - but there are sooo many similarities in design between the two, it makes it really funny that she ends up with a similar special to Vela, just generally better

A few things:

1.) Tethys seems like a fairly strong hero that would be awesome to get! She doesn’t seem so strong that she’ll require a nerf.

2.) Her theme seems very similar to Vela, which is a little odd. That being said, it’s a cool theme so I don’t necessarily mind the overlap!

3.) A new season 2 hero now that we’re in season 5
? I don’t really understand the reasoning. Will new heros be grouped into seasons based upon their theme rather than their release date?
