FIRST OFF- THIS IS A QUESTION ABOUT THE MEANING IF THE TERM “FIELD AID” and has NOTHING TO DO WITH GAME PLAY. It’s not of great importance but I am curious and thought this the best place to get the correct answer. Thank you in Advance for your time and help to those who take the time to read it
I have always used the term “Field Aid” to describe what the assistance on the war field would be in my alliances featured messages, mimicking what I had seen before I was a co-lead. **For example: WAR STARTS SOON! Field Aid is War Equalizer. *** Now it has been brought to my attention from some other players that “field aid” is actually the name of a specific one just like war equalizer. And my message should read “WAR BUFF IS WAR EQUALIZER” or could potentially read at some point “WAR BUFF IS FIELD AID” … but what “war buff” would be considered a field aid? I don’t see any with this name. Arrow Barrage, Attack Boost, Health Boost, Rush, War Equalizer are the names I’ve seen. Is Field Aid just another term for War buff? If so, which one is proper terming? If not which aid is or was it? I’d like to be able to correct my mistake and give the appropriate info from here on out so any insight is appreciated.
prior to the current war cycle, we previously had only three of Arrow Attack, Attack Up, and Field Aid. the current war cycle dropped Field Aid and added Rush Attack, War Equalizer, and Undead Horde sometime around the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021.
i forget if there is an official title for it, but i call it “war condition.”
EDIT: i really miss Field Aid. i think i’m one of the few people who actually liked that war condition.
They’re called war rules. Field aid was the one where defenses got a healing bonus every few turns. It is now gone. I also miss it and would be very happy to see it return.
I just maxed a Morgan specifically for field aid and literally the next day field aid wars were pulled. Now my Morgan is almost useless and collects dust on the bench. #bringbackfieldaid #removeVFwars
Actually, they are technically called War Support as illucidated by @Ruskin505. It is a different tab from the War Rules found on the War Info. As mentioned by @dawnsempires, there were only three War Support: Arrow Attack, Attack Up and Field Aid. Recently, Field Aid was removed. In its place are the addition of Rush Attack, Undead Horde and War Equalizer. Each of the five existing War Support are done on two consecutive wars and on a rotational basis.
On raid tourneys, they are called Modifiers, which are limited only to Buff Booster (each active buff on a character boosts their attack by +20% and this effect stacks), Rush Attack (mana speed for all heroes is set to very fast) and Bloody Battle (healing, revival, resurrection and similar effects are disabled).
This is how I sort on line chat to record stuff.
Date and win loss in our team tank.
Middle is VF = veryfast war. M= minion. Arrow
WE= war equalizer, BB = buff boost.
Tank is opposite colour tank.
