I’m deciding which blue hero to level up next. The choice is between Pengi, Bobo and Passepartout.
Pengi and Bobo are both at 3/70 and Passepartout is being levelled up and will be at 3/70 soon.
Other blue heroes in my roster include Cobalt (LB+20), Arthur (LB+20), Krampus+C (+20, next to LB) and Ariel (+20, no costume).
At 3/70, I have Magni+C, Isarnia+C and Richard while Alexandrine, Frosth and Thorne are at 2/60. Being S1 and lesser HOTM heroes, these will have to wait a while.
Pengi is useful as a fast sniper plus extra damage with minion team mates like Bera (+12) and Motega (+20). He also has nice family bonus with Krampus+C (+20), Mother North+C (3/70) and Santa+C (3/70). I got very lucky with the Christmas pulls.
Bobo is useful for titans and rush wars. Sadly, no other 5* Starfall hero for family bonus (yet).
Given I already have Ariel maxed, my thinking is Passepartout can wait.
So the choice is between the penguin and the clown. What do you think?
Bobo is an absolute BEAST. Massive undispellable defence and attack drops to one opponent each on top of a hit-all that makes Killhare look mild mannered.
Pengi looks really good and the family bonus is cool.
Titans matter bigtime though - if you had Athena maxed, I might lean toward Pengi first… Without, I’d definitely be leaning towards Bobo.
You’re right. Both are amazing and will be maxed soon enough.
Bobo is already on my titan team (just not as durable at 3/70) together with Arthur (LB,+20) who also has attack and defence down for 4 turns (though not as high as Bobo).
I don’t have Athena but got Alasie plus costume in the current ToL. I like her mana cut to 3 so she’s next to be levelled to 3/70 and will vie for future telescopes. High quality problem!
After facing few Pengis…. I have decided to keep Milena, AleX, Esme, Skadi @ 3/70

Wow! That’s quite an endorsement to give Pengi telescopes ahead of the likes of Milena, Esme etc.
I’m happy to report that Pengi is now maxed to 4/80 and fully emblemed. Can’t wait to team him up with fellow minion summoners (Christmas family, Bera, Motega) to do some real damage.
Another high quality question… Now that Pengi has joined the ranks of maxed blue heroes, would you limit break him ahead of C Krampus? My plan is to LB Krampus next.
By the way, I happen to pull Quintin yesterday. So poor Bobo the clown will have to wait even longer for his set of telescopes.
Personally Pengi is an amazing cartoon Kamakzai shooter!! Love what he does…but…Milena in attack mode is outright amazing!!! Having both I would prioritize on what emblems you can muster to 20. Clearly both are amazing but different team synergies. If I was prioritizing Limit Breaks Cobalt…Milena…and…Pengi are all in another level of game play. Good luck!
Thanks for the recommendations. Cobalt was my first LB blue but sadly no Milena (yet). Also quite excited about pulling Quintin. His after hit damage more or less guarantees killing his targets.
And by the way, the costumes make S1 heroes top shelf. I would not disregard Magni C. This hero is amazing and you can quite easily activate him in 7 tiles.
A quick update… I’m happy to report that Pengi is now fully maxed / emblemed and performing at full blast!
For the next 2 sets of telescopes… I’m thinking of Quintin as my first choice. Others contending for second choice are Alasie + costume, Bobo and Passepartout.
While C Magni is a good hero, I think these heroes potentially add more depth to my blue roster:
Quintin (hits hard & teammates continue to hit on his behalf)
C Alasie (mana cut)
Bobo (AOE, att & def down)
Passepartout (alternative healer to Ariel at +20).

Quintin is excellent, i started playing him at 3/70 and he was amazing. He got my scopes and now I have him fully ascended and on the way to fully emblemed. No regrets.
