More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If youâve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

Can you explain why you think he needs a buff?
I think he might be a pretty decent offensive hero. He bypasses buffs, and the passive is great. Personally, Iâm not a fan of the Crash Bandicoot look to his artwork, but I donât see him as that horribly underpowered. Heâs a sniper & I will concede, that as a sniper, he not got the longevity that is afforded to some other newly released heros have but that doesnât make him a bad hero.
Some people got used to $$$$$$ pull monsters who decimate all enemies and the opponentâs roster so much they qualify every card which doesnt kill everyone with 1 shot as mediocre
And we wonder why this game became a freak show âŠzynga is just trying to keep up with the whales unlimited hunger i guess not the other way around
This hero is light years far from mediocre
Priority bypass as well, so he doesnât get countered with his initial snipe unlike thura. And his tile damage canât be countered ever as well. God damn heâs such a solidly designed hero
-however-
His glaring weakness is that this is not a hero you want his buffs being snatched away. Very vulnerable to heroes that steal because it doesnât wear off. Never use him against c diaochan because his dodge is useless against her. Itâs just free for her to steal
He isnât an AoE monster but seems thoughtfully designed.
Passive cuts opponentâs healing by 50%. That is HUGE. Means damage will stick, fiends have a chance of sticking and you have a chance of killing the stall teams before time runs out.
Powerful snipe the first time he fires and it comes with Bypass since it is the first line of the special so cuts through the aether powers for LB2 heroes that are everywhere on defense.
+50% to Dodge Special skills boost survivability a ton AND make the opponent doubt themselves if aiming at him on defense.
The Fox minion MAY provide a discernable benefit but is certainly NOT the reason you would want one of these heroes.
This could be an aggressive tank option. Paladin, +50% chance to dodge special skills, the Bypass⊠a Goblin or two to provide Growth on the attack stat and/or some attack buffs and Spiff will be one-shotting full heroes (or attack buffers in general). The Dodge makes him slippery. You want to target him but donât want to waste your snipeâŠ
This would have been more convincing BEFORE the November Balance update that gave all the damage dealing Owls the âcanât missâ buff too.
Shame I missed the bug that had him in the S1 portal.
Quite a few of the newly released heroes appear to have a more âbalancedâ card at release, which, to be completely honest, I can get behind a lot faster than when the first thing I think after pulling a shiny new hero is awe fudgeâŠwhens the nerf coming
Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Jack.O.Kent âŠ
Any hero that cuts healing in half isnât worthless. After Rust and Whitefang, I can see some thinking itâs a bit of a disappointment. But having that passive for a healer strong war defense is priceless.
I have two swiftspaws and tested this on yellow titan.
I put both on flanks, so they generated foxes for whole team. Added freya to extra boost attack of minions. Switfpaws are 3-70 and 2-60
Added Gastille and Zarrah as 4-5th choices
EACH MINION TICK DID 4.000 dmg with Gastille on!!! Score 300.000 on titans⊠BADASS!
Edit : Probably could do even more dmg if I switched Zarrah (elemental def down) for normal def down since minions dont use elemental def down to my knowledge
