Ok my maxed reds are mitsuko, grazul and marjana.
Just got this cutie and i have no clue if she’s worth it or not.
My other reds are tyr and jf…i have so many fighters that’s y i still didnt level tyr (got poseidon, kingston and magni maxed).
My defense is posey,ursena,telly,magni,marjana.
How’s she on defense? And on offense?
Who would u ascend next?
I have unemblemed Tyr and RH+3. I started embleming her because otherwise the minions are a little weak - and they still are, she would need more emblems. I raided a couple times severely emblemed red hoods which was a pain, but do not think she shall replace your Marjana on defense (also, RH is better as flank than as wing).
So I would say it depends on how far you can emblem her. I like my Tyr for offense (same dilemma with the fighters…, but he will get some emblems soon). As for JF, there seems split vote as I see it, some find him underwhelming, some like him. I am currently deciding between him and marjana to give the set of rings in stock.

I like JF. I think Red Hood’s maybe alright. Don’t know much about her performance. But honestly, Tyr looks so good I’d have a really hard time not rooting for that one.

Everytime i faced Tyr i felt like he was nothing special…
Imo he does everything but doesn’t excel in anything, but maybe on offense he is a different story.
Red riding hood looks like a niche hero but just how heavy do emblem affect her minions?
I have like 700 unused ranger emblems btw…will that make her useful on offense? And in which specific situation?
Tyr is not a defensive hero. He is fantastic when you can time his special on offense.

Late in the game snipers are forced to hit him so u can use his special in your favor…but what about early game? How can you be sure AI will hit him?
700 Emblems will bring her to +10, which is already not too bad. But, there are quiet some rangers out there which may deserve emblems.
Tyr is great on offense, the bypass of defensive buffs comes in more handy than I expected, and he may become a kind of one man army, winning a 1 versus 2 or 3 end raid. Die, resurrect with health, charge, fire, repeat… I am not sure if he is emblemed, if the fighter skill revive will kick in before the revive from special skill, which will result in resurrection with 1 HP only (in this case non-emblemed Tyr may have even advantages, but I am not sure here). With a defense that holds you in diamond - I guess that applies to yours - I would chose the heroes (except few exemption) for offensive use. Here, Tyr may have more value and he made more frequently the difference in raids that RH…

I’ve maxed Tyr, he’s okay, not great … pairs well with say, marj or gm for dot stacking (my Tyr team is him, seshat, mits, crig or rig, marj) but most of his skill goes unnoticed in matches… at his best he’ll die and take a sniper shot while ghost (maybe even a few times)… at his average he does like 350-375 direct damage and some small dot at fast while helping himself survive… reminds me a bit of Morgan who lost her spot in my green lineup long ago, but because red lack all stars (including red hood), Tyr is fine. Sorry, back to the question… Red is very passive, doesn’t hit hard and heal is relient on minions being alive… I don’t have her but I have never heard glowing reviews, but she could be fun…

I have Red Hood +6, she’s actually my first 5* Red. From my experiance she’s a very decent character.
Extremely useful on map, especially hard Atlantis and Valhalla, not bad on PvP. Her primary role is meat shield generator, that protect your more vurnable heroes and add additional heal when needed. Work extremely well with other mininion spawners like Telluria. Foxies animation is slow, so she’s iffy on titans and competing events. I have no regrets maxing her. She can serve you well.

For what it’s worth, my maxed 5* reds are GM, Natalya, Santa, Anzogh, Red Hood, and Marjana. There are plenty of wars where RH doesn’t even make it off my bench. I know there are people on the forum that are fans of hers, but I wish I could get the rings back. To me, she’s a mediocre healer and mediocre attacker, not quite good enough at either for a place in normal raid attacks.
That said, she’s awesome for class quests, but not sure she’s worth rings just for that.
I’ll again caveat that I think I’m in the minority in my opinion on her. Also, I have Seshat and Alasie ahead of her for emblems.

Honestly, Red Hood’s minions need an HP buff severely.

I would hold off on leveling RH. She used to be a good hero but with power creep and her minions being so weak, they really didn’t hold up to the test of time. They are too weak and die too easily. She needs a similar buff like QoH (13% to 16%) for her to be viable again.

Actually i noticed that g Kong is getting buffed with increased damage plus might be able to cleanse all… Did not mention i have him too because he wasn’t worth the rings before but, if he will be able to dispel, he might become a viable choice

Red hood is really pretty sneaky good in Raids and Wars. She’s not fantastic for titans but the minion meat shield & healing they give can be pretty clutch in raids.
Tyr is better on offence than he is on defence. I’ve not ever struggled with him on a defence team personally (not sure how others fare tho).
JF is another sneaky good hero. His damage output is pretty high & only gets higher with emblems.
Ultimately it comes back to what you need & what will fit best into your play style…
If you like Fast Targetted Damage then Tyr is your man
If you like Fast Overall Damage then JF is your bloke
If you like the more conservative approach then Red Hood is the way to go.
