This is my first post and I need your help to prioritize my ascensions.
I’m a C2P, let’s say something like 5 bucks / month (I actually Have a VIP pass and Path of valor pass ongoing). Stronghood level16, 17 in progress. 1 Training camp lev.13.
I’ve been lucky and already got my first 5* with an atlantis coin summon, unfortunatly the chosen on has been Thorne.
I have Thorne 2.60 and Kiril costume 3.60, wich one should i prioritize and can be more usefull?
My other 4*+ heroes are: kashhrek costume 4.60, skittleskull 4.60, Melendor 4.60, wu kong 4.60, Guardian Jackal working on it. (No red nor purple 4 or 5*)
I only have 3 compass and 2 fine Gloves, 8shield, 3 orb of magic, 4 warm cape. (no telescope)
My Guess is to ascend kashhrek and one between Kiril and thorne, i think next should be Wu kong
I plan to have at least 3 saved epic hero summon in sand of empire, plus i have something like 500 atlantis coins, and If nothing intresting catched, i will make a 3000 gems summon (probably in atlantis).
You should prioritize Kiril. A maxed 4* is way more valuable than a 5* stuck at 3/70.
You should first max a team or two of 3*, then 4s, and only then think about 5 heroes. They take a huge amount of resources to max and you won’t have the items needed for a long time.
I know they are exciting, but you’ll advance faster by focusing on heroes you can level sooner
I echo the previous poster. Kiril is one of the better 4* heroes, and definitely worthy of maxing.
Thorne is not a bad hero (congrats on getting him!), but at 3/70 he will not serve you nearly as well as a maxed Kiril will. Kiril will help you in challenge events, world stages and raids. He is also a very nice raid tank, and awesome in all raid tournament formats except bloody battle.
I can only agree to reinforce what the others have said. I would recommend forming probably at least 3 full teams of four stars (15 maxed four star heroes, 3 in each element), before turning to your five stars.
I know the five star is the bright, shiny toy, but it’ll be faster and less resource intensive to level the four stars and you’ll get better results from them. A four star at 4.70 is quite a bit stronger than a five star at 3.70.
In general, if you are not at or near the materials to max a five-star, you should choose the four-star. In this particular case, it’s even more so. Kiril is a beast, and he only gets better with his costume. He’s part of every blue stack I put together.
I also have Thorne, and I maxed him and have started giving him emblems, because my paladin options are bad. He has his uses, but he usually needs to be next to a defense-down hero who goes off first to really have a great effect. His special only does damage, and it’s not even a ton of damage at 4^80. It’ll barely be a blip at 3^70. By the time you have the scopes, you might have Isarnia, Richard, or Magni, all of whom are classics that are better than Thorne. Unfortunately, he really is a choice of last resort, even for a F2P like me who likes to work with what I have. I have lamented this many times, because I think his artwork is some of the best in the game, and I really wanted to like him.
Kiril defo will be better for you now and the future always a good choice.
I use as a healer for events in epic which can get mats for other hero’s. Good to have a selection of 4*.
Thanks for the suggestions, I got that at the point i’m now it’s better to focus on kirill, in orde to gorw faster, and better farm for the future.
I just realized i’ve made a mistake in my post, all my listed 4* are at 3.60, and not full ascended. (This doesn’t change the matter).
Priorities:
Max kashhrek
Max Kirill
Max Wu Kong
Only once I’have the material, and if not got anithing better meanwhile, max Thorne

On the green side, is it better Kashhrek with costume or melendor?
I was opting for kashhrek As with costume As in defence team for raid and war looks to me a beast, and because it helps ti keep my team alive while advancing on the map. But i recognize melendor is really good too. I exclude skittleskull as it seems to me it isn’t great in anythig
Kashrek is a good tank in raid defense up to a point, but after that, he becomes a joke. I’d say his usefulness starts to peter out in high platinum raid defense. So Melendor is the better long term investment. That said, Kashrek’s costume makes him the only non-S3 hero of which I am aware that can counter the new “max HP reduction” mechanic. It remains to be seen exactly how valuable that will be, but I’m leveling Kashrek with costume now to find out. Still, I think Melendor is the better all-rounder.
Yes, Skittles should be a low priority, but I’m finding that, with her costume bonus and some emblems, her tile damage eventually becomes pretty respectable. Her special is still basically garbage, though.
