@zephyr1 idk if this has been discussed before

But I’m curious as to what people typically prioritize and how those priorities vary per spend scale(f2p, c2p, p2w) and playstyles(compeitive, casual)

How do you manage your resources? What comes first? How do you manage gems? How you work on heroes and troops?

Etc, think you see my point of thought. I know my priorities and they’ve changed as I’ve progressed but not getting into those as i would rather hear what you guys do and not have my opinion sway anything

  • New shiny heroes that i desire comes first of course. The excitement to get one of them is soon replaced by the desire to get another.

  • To get them as a C2P i must maximise what i have, so balancing out more gems/coins for resources

  • This lead me to give up on titan loot and focus on war/titan chests. Building a solo alliance allow me to lose only 2 wars (1 with one point difference, lol) so far. This meaning i have a close 100% winning rate on wars, and now that 14* are up probably fill my titan chest two times fast with the 12 hrs trick.

  • titans are low, so this allow me to not use any items. The items i spare i use all in monthly event

  • i play the monthly event to get as much coins as possible. So i fight to place at least in the ranking to get more coins and stop, try to not waste my flask to use more in atlantis. So far i always get 6 epic coins, about 30-35 event coins and i have more items of previous events

  • i usually skip both monster and raid chest. The investments of gem is profitable, as you lose a bit of them for much more rewards.

TL-dr: my goal is to suck out of the game the most for the smallest investments in money.

F2P. Not because I can’t afford it, but because I am cheap and like the challenge.

I try to focus on efficiency. That goes for farming, recruits, etc. @BarryWuzHere has the greatest resource put together for this. I took his data and calculated the best hero training experience per energy. Factor that also by the recruits gained per energy.

I have finally got to the point where I have excess recruits stored in tc11 after all swords backpacks and rugged clothes are used. I also have a decent store of ham in tc20.

Run 2-3 tc20 based on resources. Trying to get those sniper 5*.

Save diamonds for 10 pull of event that I like.
Level at least 1 copy of each hero and duplicates of the ones I like for war.

Can’t say am c2p, nor p2w - maybe p2p as have spent quite a lot on the game in the 9months playing it. Am very competitive - this just who I am - any sport or game I play to win ( which can be a slight issue with E&P where there is no winning at the end :slight_smile: )

My biggest priority is the alliance which drives a lot of my decisions :

  • Pull for heroes and afterwards ascend heroes that first can help me in wars, second help me with titans. Raiding comes last even though there is overlap with wars to an extent.
  • Gems - prioritized hero pulls until now ( considering start splitting my gems per month from next month to heroes and troops pulls ). The gems used for skipping wait time on chests - don;t consider them - is a very small part of the overall spending ). Never use gems for speed up of buildings.
  • Buildings - finishing iron and food storages to level 10 is my priority at the moment and than the hunter lodge eventually even though frankly don’t see a lot of point
  • Food - levelling particular heroes, troops, emblems - no order depedning on what I have set to do in the certain week. Also on mana potions for titans.
  • Iron - balancing and planning building upgrades ( helps that are 6days + these days ) + emblems + mainly axes for placing in rare + tornado/mana stop to have some for rare titans.
  • Troops - did crit troops lvl 10 in all colours and doing mana troops now - most are at lvl 17 - as mentioned most probably will start splitting my budget to troop pulls as don’t see how I will reach lvl 23 soon in all colours ( which I really need as have fantastic heroes at average ) - not a single feeder anymore in any colour - all is fed.

Play since Feb 2019, C2P, Level player 44, Raid mostly in Diamond Arena.
My priority:

  • Pull interesting heroes.
  • Gems use for: pull, skip chest, hero caps, some of refill WE for Atlantis Rise, after I have 30x heroes (4* and 5*) maxed (currently 22 heroes max) I will buy team slot for better organize for raid.
  • Building - currently SH22 - and focus iron storage as required for SH25.
  • Food - still leveleving many heroes, sometimes troops (not priority for now), and emblem.
  • Iron - Building, emblem, axes, bombs and some times tornado.
  • Troops - not my priority for now, level only if I have overload food which is rare for now.
  • Mission - Avatar mission only left Gadeirus and Drone, after that I will continue to clear in the mission, including S2 Hard (on progress, currently lvl 11 Hard).

Started Sept 2018 as F2P and lasted until December 2018 when I went to C2P and pretty much have stayed there since.

Started by prioritizing SH and subsequent buildings to support that. Currently sit at SH23 and doing advanced buildings when I have enough resources stockpiled for the next bump. Being ham/iron poor is no fun so I take that into account. **I don’t raid, don’t like the mechanism.

Gems are spent pretty much when the mood strikes - events mostly since my bench is mostly 4*.

Heroes I was moving around alot on leveling and adding perceived depth. Now, taking advice from a few people, I’m maxing out what I have started before taking on newer projects…and I have those aplenty patiently waiting. Looking at you Kingston, Margaret, Obakan, Joon, and Dom.

Troop wise if my food is getting close to being maxed and no upcoming events are close I’ll toss some hams at leveling them up.

Lvl50 here rocking a 4100+ defense of rainbow 5*. May not be the best 5* but they’re maxed and mine :slight_smile:

I’ll be cheap to play! Buy cheap gems Atlantis deal! But now got tc20 running could Change depending on who I get! Iv VIP 3 times i may do again, think the extra building gets lost for a few days as iron takes time to restore!
I’m enjoying what hero I got n can work on always someone new!

For me, I tend to focus on where I’m lacking and try an polish that area down as best I can. When I started leveling heroes, I had a tendency to prioritize support heroes, then I went with AoE heroes, then I went with snipers/DoT heroes. Now that I have a pretty deep roster of 5* heroes, I tend to focus on which colors were lacking what.

I noticed my green heroes had nothing but support (Alby/Tarlak/Evelyn) so I maxed Kingston and then Gregorian to compensate for their lack of destructive power.

For my blues, I recently maxed Aegir over Richard because I had nothing but offensive blues.

For yellow, I have always had a nice mix of heroes in the way of utility, offense and support (Delilah, Inari, Joon, Drake and Ranvir). Right now I recently pulled Neith, so I may max her, but I also have Leonidas to consider as well as Justice and Vivica… decisions, decisions.

For my reds, that is a current issue. I have almost all 5* utility reds in Zimkitha, Red Hood and Ares while the other two are Marjana and Khagan. I have the rings to max either Anzogh (who is a combo support/offensive hero) Cap’ Kestrel (a fast, partial AoE hero), the recently acquired QoH (a combo support/partial AoE hero) or I could wait for Jean Francois, but he’s another red utility hero… so I’m not too sure. I’m not sure why I’ve decided to play it super safe with my red heroes, but that is the route I chose to take.

Finally, my purple heroes are almost all offensive because there really aren’t any 5* purple utility heroes other than Aeron and Kunchen (the latter of which I have maxed), so I chose those heroes based off of what they add to my other colors (I usually go 3-2 when raiding). I have Seshat (sniper), Victor (DoT, def buff), Thoth-Amun (partial AoE) and Kunchen (cleanse, healer and def down).

Since my roster is so much deeper now than it was before, I have recently started leveling my troops. Currently I have both versions of all the mana/crit 4* troops, and I’m trying to get them to level 23 as quickly as possible, though the grind seems impossible.

I’ve been playing since late February 2018. F2P until December when I bought Rudolph’s gift. Since then I’ve bought the odd cheap gem deal, the ones that gift your alliance mates, one Atlantis deal, and the latest VIP deal during Halloween event. All told around $24 CAD.

My priorities initially were to strengthen my heroes to get through the S1 provinces. Then I joined an alliance and it changed to building a bench for wars. Now it’s hunting for AM to ascend the 5* I have stuck at 3-70. Not to mention all the ones I have at 1-1. All told I have about 30 5* to work on, all but 3 are S1 TC20 types. Only nine are maxed, a tenth almost. But no AM to work on any more.

I would love to pull a HOTM or event 5* but that rarely seems to happen for me (I have Aeron and Gregorion, two of the more maligned HOTM :grin: ). I’m saving as much as I can for Christmas. Maybe I’ll fluke out a MN or Santa. A genuine tank would be very nice to have for my team. Right now my best option seems to be Ariel (my lone S2 5*), or maybe Justice?
