More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
Wondering About Your Personal Situation?
Feel free to discuss your team and roster here, and ask for advice from other Forum members.
If you’d like more extensive advice on sorting out your particular roster, I recommend creating a new thread in Gameplay Help & Tactics, and posting screenshots of your hero roster, along with your questions.
I don‘t know tbh - I barely used Jott for Titans, so I don’t think I find use for him at all. Even for Rush I think he is below average. Let‘s hope for a buff in the near future. But I think his whole design is broken.
When I used 300 gems to make a single pull, and got him, I was happy. I thought, “Not bad. An event 5* hero, rather than I spend 300 gems and pull a Bane or Berden.”
I have some very good fast and medium blues, but no real slow hard hitters, except for Theobald (who’s unleveled). So I think I can really use this guy on my fast wars attack team. As usual it depends on your roster, but I’ll use him for that. I have Jott and Alexandrine also, so let’s see about titans.
365% damage to all is still very respectable, especially when you compare that to Isarnia’s 235%.
If you used only 300 gems to pull him (aka 1 summon) I would not be disappointed. He’s not necessarily a poo hero, he’s just the least desirable in this portal for most people (but still more desirable than many other 5* heroes out there). Best of luck!
Yes. I was so so so lucky after getting Season I 3* heros for so long (in other previous summon portals).
Didn’t felt like doing multiple oulls for this summons, so controlled myself to do a max 2 pulls, but 1st pull was Porthos, so I stopped. < I have video as proof. >
Yes, for this portal, I think everybody would be chasing after Queen Anne.
But like the rest of the members mentioned here, think Porthos is only useful for Rush Attacks Wars and perhaps to fight Titan.
Well, like you said, I should not be too disappointed, since I got him with just 300 gems.
I wouldn’t mind getting this guy… I’ve never had any luck with getting the tile altering heros but I think he has potential… look at Frigg or a better comparison Octros…he’s just slow and everyone is chasing fast these days.
Congratulations!
Managed to get Porthos from the portal. One of my favorites from that 1990’s 3 Musketeers movie (the one with Tim Curry and the awesome soundtrack…Bryan Adams, Sting & Rod Stewart). Anyway, not bad, not great, not game changing, but he does make the titan team because of the tile buff. I wonder if he’ll be okay to overtake Jott at 3/70 or if he needs to be maxed and emblemed.
Hero desirability talks here or anywhere are MAINLY based on roster options.
Porthos is a good hero for being part of the Musketeer family with that unique bonus,
His special is good, though I wasn’t very enthused ….realised bcoz of my roster options & wanted Aramis.
Finally, I have 83 five stars levelled up & many highly desired ones I have hardly used
&
Basing hero relevance on the speed…. without looking at the special / overall package is comical…
I’m sorry, but every time I see this guy’s special skill animation, I get irritated.
Pour mead into a glass and hurl it at enemies to deal damage and enhance ice tiles on the board? This is incomprehensible.
