Anyway, for the first red 5 star, I would get Ares ahead. Simple reason: versatility. You can make him a tank on which he would shine especially if flanked with good green hitters. You can take him in raids and in wars and very good against green titans. He heals and buffs nearby heroes. Take into consideration the attack increase and the +crit percentage he is doling to nearby heroes.
