Thanks Mahmut! Ive used this team a lot although Ive recently been using Kiril more than Boril.
How do I keep growing them? I thought if they were all fully ascended and leveled up to 50, that was it? Is there a way to ascend them further, somehow? My BT is at level 15 but I only have him ascended two levels out of the four.
Also, what order should I have them in for fighting? Does it matter? I tried to read the explanation in one of the other threads about it but it didnāt really make sense to me. I need a key for all these abbreviations, lol.
And about the daily summon, hahaha I feel for you. Thatās not meant to help I think, although there have been a few times that it gave me something very useful. I once got a Nashgar and a Hawkmoon there, so you never know. I think the key is to not expect anything good from it at all, hahaha.
As for 1* troops, they really do suck but there is a building called a barracks which allows you to increase the levels of troops by feeding them other troops. I forgot what level you become qualified to build one, but in the later parts of the game when food just has very little use to you, those 1* troops will come in handy.
Already have a barracks converted, and Iāve been throwing them at my level 3* troops. Theyāre just super annoying to hold your breath about
As for the order of my lineup, I used the hero utility thing, which was super cool, actually, I just donāt know what to do with the information. I thought it was like, a sorter, kind of thing.
Sorry for that, I meant that keep growing them until they get to max at everything Sometimes even when the hero is fully ascended and to max level, the skill is still not maxed. But if they are fully ascended and leveled and at max skill, then you can move on to grow other heroes Dont feel bad about BT not growing to full yet, Ive been playing for a while and I still havent fully ascended mine. He will still be awesome anyway
For attacking, the order doesnt matter. You can direct the skills of the heroes anyway, and the board is what determines which tiles hit which hero on the other side. But for defense, yes the placing matters because your heroes will follow the same order when they defend. This means that the hero in the middle should almost always be a tank, or at least a hero youd like to have a higher chance of firing his/her special (eg, those with average to slow mana generation). In your lineup, I would say this is where BT would be placed, since heās the toughest and is also the healer. The ones right behind the tank are usually hitters, or sometimes healers, because they benefit from the tile hits that the tank takes, and they also get to fire their specials a lot. Those in the outermost sides, or the flanks, are usually fast generating hitters, who generate mana quickly on their own and hit hard (like Bane or Valen). In some cases, people use tank type heroes in the flank, if they also have good specials that would be useful as long as they fire (whether quickly or not), like Li Xiu. This helps the defense last longer because the flanks are usually very hard to hit with tiles.
Aww, man, thanks!! Thatās a super helpful explanation phrased for a noob
Oh youāre welcome! Haha Iāve also been helped a lot by other players, so Iām glad to pay it forward. Good luck and hope to see you in the leaderboards someday
I see what you mean about the ascension materials! UGHHHHhhhhhh, where do you even find āHidden Bladesā?!
Hi Titus! I hope the gameās going well for you so far. Based on your comment, it seems like it is! If youāre starting to feel the desperation that ascension materials bring, then youāre advancing well in the game
Hidden blades, like all the ascension materials for the last tier of a 4* hero and beyond (last tier of a 5* that is), canāt be farmed from the map, and cant be won in raids. They can only be found in the many ways that the game randomly gives prizes. Iāve only been playing for a few months too but I think Iāve got a good grasp of what these are, as follows:
Monster and raid chests - Youāve seen these, as they are accessible even to players who dont have an alliance. You cant expect too much from the vanilla kind of a monster chest, but better stuff come out of the elemental chests (meaning you have to kill 100 monsters of a certain color). Raid chests give better stuff the more cups you have, as those cups determine the level of your raid arena. The highest arena is platinum which requires at least 1800 cups.
Titan chests - These chests require five titans defeated before opening, so escaped titans wont count. I dont think itās possible to fight a titan without an alliance though, so I hope you find one soon.
War rewards and war chests - Whatever the outcome of a war, the players all get random rewards. Better stuff go to the winners of course Each war ends with points that are added to a war chest count, even the losing alliance. Once it gets to 25, there are more rewards (which maybe get better depending on the allianceās war score). Again, you need to be in an alliance for this.
Events - Along with raids, these are some of the most frustratingly hard ways to earn rewards and farm ascension materials. The developers come up with different ways to advance in these events and earn rewards at the end, but they always bring on the pain. This doesnt need an alliance but you do have to have a good number of solid, varied heroes (in both elements and ranks). The conventional wisdom on the number of heroes is at least 30, but thatās for war purposes (you have a maximum of 6 flags or hits on the enemy, so thatās 6 teams of 5 heroes since you cant use a hero more than once in a war), Iām at almost 50 heroes now (a lot of 3* and 4*) and I find that somewhere around that number is safe (since some events are easier when you stack heroes of certain colors).
Promos - Ive been reading your comments on other posts (just a quick catching up on your progress haha) and I noticed you mentioned that you dont spend any money on the game. I wouldnt advise against that but there are promos that give away guaranteed rare materials, and I also wouldnt blame you if you decide to go a little pay to play to get some of the good deals.
Thatās all I know about getting these things so far. If I discover any great tips for rare materials, Ill let you know In the meantime, maybe you can consider joining my old alliance, āViking Spiritā, which is a pretty good place to start accessing some of the other methods. My brother is still there, and heās a free to play (F2P or non-spending) player as well. His name there is āDarlitaā Hope this helps!
Ugh, making me learn in the morning.
