This thread is for discussing whether the New Magic heroes passive is well-balanced, or whether you think he needs a buff or nerf.
Passives what this topic is about:
Poll - Stack on Special
I think “Stack on Special” passive is reasonably well-balanced overall
I think “Stack on Special” passive is excessively weak, and needs a buff (increase of their strength)
I think “Stack on Special” passive is excessively strong, and needs a nerf (decrease of their strength)
I’m not sure yet

Discussion
If you think the new Magic heroes’ passives are well-balanced, too strong, or too weak — why?
Are there specific, concrete suggestions you’d make to the game designers to alter these passives ? Or are there specific reasons you think they should remain unchanged?
Purpose of this thread:
To provide an aggregate place for the topic here on the forum; thus preventing there being a million threads popping up. And to provide an actual set of impartial votes rather than a Ideas & Feature Requests which has no real voting.
In short, to neaten the forum and to give players and outlet for their thoughts on his balance without bogging down the rest of the forum or the new Magic hero threads.
Stacks can’t be removed as of yet by any widely available 3, 4 or 5* heroes, so a passive that several VF heroes have the ability to give negative mana stacks to the entire team is incredibly out of balance. I have two of the new 5* and two of the 4*, so getting the entire opposition to negative 50% mana generation is incredibly simple.
Nobody is talking about it yet cause it’s too early to call but people want to make a big deal over things that don’t even exist yet I think we should definitely be able to dispel it but let’s wait and see before we start saying it’s a problem cause I haven’t had any problems with them and I raid in top diamond 2800 to 3000 cups every day
Honestly, it doesn’t make any difference. Skadi and Ogima do this even better, that’s their specialty. The same is true of the new magical heroes, they even rarely appear in the top defense teams. but someone discussed the issue of taking away their “wand”
Jeezuz maan!..these heroes are not even a month old and you make a post about nerfing passives???..yeah…you put “nerf or buff” but we all know this is about a nerf…smh.
The objective is to build a team that can beat the opposing team. There is no such thing as an unbeatable team. Some players luck up and get stronger than normal heroes and some dont. The game usually releases new and stronger heroes each month and in time heroes that counter those said “stronger heroes”. You people wonder why more and more people are leaving the game and why others are making posts on stopping the spending…well…I’ll tell you…its because of nerfing posts like this right after a hero is released and in a lot of cases maxed leveled and emblemed.
It takes a group of heroes on a team to beat another not just one. If a person lucks up and get multiple new released heroes or even ALL of them …they shouldnt be penalized by getting the heroes nerfed just because you or a group of people feel its unfair because their abilities and or passives of the heroes combined makes them too strong as a team.
Skadi is leagues slower and both heroes have conditions that must be met in order to apply stacks. All these heroes need is to is fire and the chance for it to happen applies it to all enemies in addition to their special skill effects. This is inherently broken.
There’s one hero in the game that can reflect stacks and he is getting nerfed as we speak. You can’t make a team to stop something when that hero doesn’t exist.
Skadi is almost wholly dependent on opponents owning minions to cast her stacks. The new Magic heroes are throwing negative stacks out every time they 1/2 load and 2x on a full load guaranteed.
I have Willow and Camilla. I can’t imagine how teaming them up together will affect how I play them together.
A board in my favor on offense could see me throwing -15% generation at all enemies after the first turn without factoring in the actual hero specials themselves.
That’s pretty powerful. Since I have this advantage, I’m fully expecting the passive to get nerfed.
if it has such a powerful effect , then you will see top players using them defensively . but to be honest , i searched for a long time to find only one or two heroes appearing in their lineup . I wonder if you have so many new magical heroes where are you among them?
When there’s only 5 heroes you can put in the lineup, players will likely stick with the defenses they see others employ. I think the appearance of the new Magic heroes will spread if/when the defense features more than one of them. That’s why I’m leveling Willow and Camilla as fast as I can within my leveling system.
Where I am:
4th Ascension with Willow.
Nearing the end of the 3rd with Camilla with only 5 scopes with one coming in a day or so from PoV.
I currently have Hachiko as my Holy hero in my Rainbow defense. Willow will be replacing him no matter what.
I’m undecided on whether I will replace Milady De Winter with Camilla at this point. I’ve already 1LB’d MDW and love what she brings. There’s a chance I will experiment with the two witches on defense. If they are both effective and survive the V58 nerf-a-thon, I’ll AA both of them as well.
I just logged off a few minutes ago with 3007 trophies and have been in the Worldwide Top 50 multiple times this week without much trouble.
For the top players, it takes less than 1 hour or 1 day for them to get that hero and level up to lv85 and put on a defensive formation. If they don’t, the only thing is that the new magical heroes are not as strong as their current heroes. I have Camila and in 1 day I upgraded him to 3/70, but I don’t know where he will be in my V, so for now Camila will stay there until when v58 version is updated
So I still don’t understand why you guys want to nerf them when they’ve been out for less than a month, I haven’t even upgraded him yet. I love this quote: When there is a problem, the elite will find a way, the mediocre will find an excuse.
I think the top players are also paying attention to the percentages of defenses they win. There’s no reason to change a defense if your Hathor, Anne, and [Insert Proven Mets Hero Here] is causing 3-and-out failures in large quantities.
What’s not broken shouldn’t be fixed, right?
Someone like myself will pump the new Magic heroes full of Aether steroids with the resources we have. Someone will fight against it and struggle. They’ll come here to the forums and whine or make YouTube videos attacking and showing why the passive needs to be nerfed and it will have a stronger chance of spreading once proven potent.
It might flop too…
Other than that, I agree with your sentiment. People call for nerds generally because they’re lazy and want instant gratification.
