Need to revamp my defense and war teams

Hi everyone!

It´s been a while since I last posted and in the meantime I have gotten some nice heroes from TC20. My defense has been constant in the meantime, but emblems and 5* could change it.

I got BT+14, Triton+10, Kashhrek+0, Proteus+14 and Li Xiu+0

The rest of my leveled heroes are

Purple: Rigard +17, Sartana 4.1, Cyprian+0, Tiburtus 3.60, Sabina 2.13.
Yellow: Danzaburo+0, Hu Tao 3.60, Justice 3.12, Guardian Owl 2.60.
Red: Scarlett+12, Gormek+0, Colen 4.6, Kelile 3.60, BT2 3.60.
Green: Lianna 4.1, Melendor+14, LJ 3.60, Gadeirus 3.60, Caedmon 3.35
Blue: Kiril 4.70, Grimm 4.16, Triton2: 3.60 Agwe 3.60,

Unleveled
Purple: Rigard , Ameonna.
Yellow: Danzaburo, Li Xiu.
Red: 2xBT, 2xGormek, 3xScarlett, Colen.
Green: Horghall, Margaret, Gobbler, Skittleskull.
Blue: Boril, Richard.

Grimm will get my barbarian emblems and Sabina my sorcerer ones. I will reset Triton and emblem Lianna. I might give +1 to Danzaburo. Richard or Justice could get my Paladin emblems, but my monk ones are waiting for Wu or Wilbur: the only 4*s I really really miss (Sonya who?).

As you can see, Kashhrek lost all his emblems to Proteus and now I need a new tank to hold me above 2200 cups. This brings me to my first question:

What should be my new defense team? Some considerations.

  1. BT probably will stay there. I have even thought about giving him tanking duties, but I decided to go the attack route with him as I use double healers for raiding.
  2. Lianna and Sartana will be part of the defense when they reach 4.60. The only issue is that Sartana might not get (m)any emblems.
  3. That leaves blue and yellow to consider. I have all the mats to ascend Justice and I am only missing a single Telescope for Richard. Neither was my first choice for my team, since I’d rather have Isarnia and Azlar. However, my 2xTC20 came through with five 5* in 30 days. I can’t complain about that.
  4. Who should be my new tank? I am very C2P, so Atlantis and Event pulls are limited. The fancy HOTM and event heroes are out of my reach.

On the other hand, I have a decent amount of materials. Enough to ascend one of each color in 4*s. Who should I ascend for war?

Boldtusk tank would be nice imo. With that many fighter emblems, he can revive and fire his attack buff, which is something the opponent will not like.

Eventually you can tank with Justice or Richard. Justice being slow makes her very limited to defense mostly, Richard is a bit better on offense though he also doesn’t hit very hard.

But on defense, both are quality tanks, particularly when they have some paladin emblems. They just need strong flanks behind them to finish off the opponents they hit; Lianna and Sartana can fit that role nicely.
