Hello. I was about to ascend my Wu Kong but did some research here because at the moment I only have 3 pairs of gloves and loads of heroes I could use them on.
So after my research and considering I have Ranvir waiting for my attention at some point… Should I really bother ascending Wu Kong at least for now? And use my gloves on other heroes?
I have at 3.60 Wu Kong, Wilbur, Triton, Sabina, Kiril as you can see in the screenshot. What should I prioritise? I’m really confused as I found them all useful. Thanks
Tough question. Do you have Ranvir? You say “waiting for my attention” but I don’t see him in your roster.
Short answer is that you have to have one or the other, at least if you care about titans. You have Wu Kong at 3.60, so depending upon the level of titans you are fighting, that may be good enough for a while.
Ultimately, Ranvir is probably better – he has some fans who can better sing his praises, but to highlight a few:
a. he’s fast, so he needs few tiles or mana pots to keep his attack buff active,
b. he hits so his special does some damage on its own,
c. his special applies to both tiles and specials
On the flip side, you are 70 levels away from maxing Wu, so that seems like a bonus.
Three questions to settle it:
- do you have Ranvir, and if so, at what level?
- does Wu currently survive the titans you’re fighting
- who else do you have on your roster? Other yellow five stars awaiting your attention? Miki?

Yes I do have Ranvir. I got him recently from a event portal I guess but as I was putting my focus on Wu kong and Sif he got behind. Below is my heroes a bit further down the screen.
Wu Kong survives most of the titans. (I’m fighting 5 to 7 stars titans). On all titans I give two mana potions to Heimdall so I get everyone’s lives pumped up. Sometimes not enough but really helps.
Joon is other yellow 5 waiting. I hate to face him so thought would be good to level him up.
On the other heroes that I have at 3.70… Any suggestions on priorities?

I am going to say that for efficiency, level Wu now, then Joon and get to Ranvir at some time in the future.
While Wu may not be as good as Ranvir, he’s not bad. Leveling up Ranvir will take a long time and a lot of resources, the ROI on Wu is pretty immediate.
I would rather have Joon leveled up sooner rather than later, he’s great. He does not get a lot of love as a S1 hero, but I use him in every raid where I use a yellow hero. You won’t regret leveling him up.
Sif is also good. I don’t have her, but I would prioritize her ahead of Ranvir, too.

I agree. And Wu can do the job until you get to higher titans where the survivability needs to be higher.

I also agree for Wu Kong. He’ll be much quicker to get to 4.70 than to get ranvir to 3.70. He’ll also help with titans (and events/raids) now and help get higher scores and hopefully better loot (more gloves).
As for the other 2 gloves I say Wilbur and Proteus… Both are great for events (and Wilbur for titans). You will eventually want to max the other 3 you listed but you do have 2 healers with boldtusk and heimdall (and 3 with telluria) so for right now a 3rd healer isn’t the most important.
Most important, use the gloves on 4* heros for now. You’ll be able to max them faster and use emblems. Not only will they be better than a 5* sitting waiting for ascention items at 3.70, but you can use them in events (like guardians right now) for both epic and legendary.
