Need an opinion. So for my 3 star raid tournaments, I’m trying to level up a level 2 troop for my fire & nature elements. Which of the following options would you choose to go with to level up? Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance!

For 2* I have 3 of each colour at level 5-6 … 2 are the attacking troop and 1 defence troop.
This works for me… Bit of a boost don’t cost that much… It gives a bit of bump, one day they will get more…

Typically you level up the higher sword troops for attacking heroes, and higher shield for healers and defensive heroes.

I do 5 x 2* troops in each colour. Just in case I want to go mono
I currently have each of them on hold at lvl.6
I levelled 3 x attack troops and 2 x defence troops for each colour.
But to be honest they are “cheap” so you can do more of each type depending on the tournaments etc

It depends on what combination you use for attacking (mono, rainbow), and how much resources are you willing to spend. For greens, I have 5 troops for attack and 2 for defense. The Attack ones go with the damage dealers like Noril, Whacker, Berden. The def ones go with the healers and buffers like Belith, Grevle, cBrienne, Dolgoon. The reason for the 5 attack troops is that I use my Green team for Challenge Events too, not for tournaments.
My 2* troops are maxed at level 8. I could push them higher, but personally don’t think it’s worth the ham
Edit : And the next tournament is a 3* Buff Booster no Red, so if you need to prioritize, then start with the Green troops depending on who you plan to tank and put in your defense
