attack-up Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability (if costume is available): Dispel on Special Skill
When this character casts their Special Skill, they dispel the newest status effect buff from all enemies.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Dragon Fang
  • Deals 362% damage to the target and minor damage to nearby enemies.
  • The caster heals 50% of dealt normal damage for 5 turns.
  • Elemental Link gives all Holy allies +15% attack and +15% defense for 6 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.

Past HotM are available from a number of locations depending on their age.

As Musashi has been released for >24 months, he can ONLY be summoned in the Tavern of Legends Portal.
He can also be “Trained” using the Hero Academy Level 10.

Tavern of Legends
HotM’s which are >12 months of age are added to the summons pool in the Tavern of Legends Portal.

Hero Academy Level 10 Retraining
HotM’s which are >12 months of age are also added as a possible outcome of Hero Academy Level 10 Retraining.

Subject to change as additional heroes are added to the Portal.

It’s important to remember that the Tavern of Legends Portal has the lowest odds for a specific hero of ANY portal… No amount of summoning will guarantee a Featured Hero.

You have a 0.25% chance of summoning a specific Featured Past HotM from the Tavern of Legends Portal (0.0125% for a specific Non-Featured).

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 2.47% chance of summoning a particular Featured Past HotM (0.12% chance for a specific Non-Featured & 12.27% chance for ANY Past HotM).

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

(Each 30x Summons costs 8,000 gems or ~$79.99 USD).

I don’t have this guy but was bummed to see not a single person had anything (positive and/or constructive) to say.

I have seen him in raids a few times and love the art. I think his power is pretty cool. By no means game changing, but he plenty usable at least by my F2P standards. His A value is off the charts. I saw a +20 whose A value was over 900, but base A still solid. Good for titans if nothing else I guess.

I use Elkanen +15 pretty regularly and this guy is like an Elkanen on steroids for attack.

Hoping with a bump someone who has him and uses him chimes in :wink:

Use him in yellow stack does well with mist and c joon. I don’t have emblems on him now but is really.solid if you do put them on him. Rogue is probably the best emblem class.
The self heal is high in a yellow stack.
Overall I think he is a b/b+ hero as long as you can afford to have a pure damage dealer. Won’t work as well outside of heavy stacks

The only good thing he has is stat. He has high attack. About only his skill, I think Elkanen skill is little better.

I think Musashi is below average or 50-75% group for non-classic 5*.(1-25% is top, 25-50% is higher than average, 75-100% is worst)

He’s helped diversify my yellow stack on offense. A Fast hit-3 is good to soften defenders for snipers and finish low HP defenders.

Also, his tile damage is great on titans.

He’s also useful on an auto-farm team. He’s not the fanciest hero, but ovverall, no regrets maxing him.

Just got him from last tavern and don’t see a reason to level him up, my yellow roster is: Prof. Lidenbrock +20, Poseidón +20, Joon +12, Delilah +7, G. Owl +7, Guinevere, Leonidas & Justice 3.70 and Delilah, Vivica & Joon 1.1

Is Musashi still relevant? I have him on an alt with 18 emblem nodes, but tend to run my LB +19 Mist more.

Should I LB him? He is my only 5* yellow other than Mica, who is also maxed. I do not spend on this alt, so my 5* will come from TC20, single pulls with coins/gems from various portals, and HA10 (as soon as i have the ham to research it).

He gets use in every war since getting that 15% def 15% attack elemental link, stacking 3 or 5. Stacking also makes his self heal quite good. And he is really good in titans.

I did him over c joon, uraeus, hamitra and devanna (part levelled). His total damage output is greater and with his already high attack he gainst the most from the attack boost, and he is quite delicate so also benefits the most from the defense boost. Fully LBd and emblemed (attack path) he is still far from the sturdiest hero but his survivability gets to a “decent” level and is further supported by his elemental link, his self-heal and his rogue class

In your position i would lb him.

Musashi is looking intriguing for 10 souls in this SE. Anyone who uses him much want to weigh in? I would probably use him in a 3:2 holy stack to get the most out of that awesome elemental link. I could LB him.

Just saying, i would not get him. He was a glass cannon 2-3 years ago, but even with LB, he has just became a glass… just to compare, his stats and even damage is equal to S1-Obakan. Here is my obakan, that way you can compare Musashi and his stats.

His stats are obsolete for today’s game play.
But if you have another 2017 HOTM, he will be useful as the link is passed on to all cards.

If you mono his heal from tiles can be really big.

I wouldn’t mind the stats. There are so many overhealers, D boosts, revives, minions, and ways to protect heroes he would be fine if you like him.

I just got him from the Fated Summons. It’s too late this time around, but I plan to level him up and use him in the Master Thief trials (the next one is four days from now - not enough time to LB and emblem him). His self-heal will come in handy, since I don’t have any thief healers other than Brynhild, who only heals three anyway.

I’m C2P for 4 yrs. and already have a pretty good group of yellow heroes I use for the usual things - wars, raids, titans, etc. I’m finding that interesting and cool-looking heroes which may not be otherwise usable in the Power Game are still bringing me enjoyment. Musashi is one of those.
