Hi all Great scores for so many of you, way to go

I was wondering something - how do you get your materials for your battle items?

In particular for Scroll of Alteration, which I can understand is vital to obtain a decent score, especially if you haven’t got the right heroes?

Titans Skulls seems to evade me.

I was wanting to give this Mythic Titan a go, thinking I was grown up enough to make it worth it.

But since the last Mythic Titan, I only managed to get 7 Titan Skulls in total

Has it got to do with Titan levels?

My Alliance takes down 11* Titans. We skip if a 12* spawns. I score a C or B most of the time. We use 41 harpoons.

For me I only used about 4 scrolls this titan… I go all out on the first hit when my team is fresh and at +10%… after that it’s all for practice as my desire, energy, time & schedule permits… this time I used this team and items:

Some heros are 3/70… my best advise is give it a try with a few flags and see how it goes…really don’t overextend yourself and go all in …but have a go and see if it’s fun fir you…what have you got to lose?

We just do our best to get our (full) alliance into the Top 1000 for pride’s sake (certainly not for the loot )

We reached 692 this time which is higher than our normal overall alliance ranking of around 1200.

A few folk buy the offer to get and share some scrolls, but there is no expectation to do so .

I finished in top 5% of each of the individual categories without thinking too hard.

I planned to make a video about harvesting titan parts, but it involves alt accounts so it would take me a ton of time.

Harvesting titan parts, basic principles, updated after v46:

1. Harvesting parts in an alliance that hunts big titans is ineffective.
2. It’s best to harvest titan parts in alliances with 1* titans. You can create a number of these if you put just a bit of effort into making some 4-lvl alt accounts. Dead alliances don’t work so good, although they are abso an option
3. You need to enter the alliance in which you will be harvesting parts prior to the titan in it escaping. Kill it or at least attack it with your main account. Wait for the next titan to appear - you will get a full loot from it, including titan parts (updated silently after v46). Throw 10 harpoons and being A+ will give you 9 titan parts. EDIT: Of course, you need to use 2 flags to throw 10 harpoons which I just realized - so in order not to waste 2 flags on a 1* ttian, you need to hunt these small titans in pairs or with the help of alt accounts (look below). Chance of getting even high grade titan parts from a 1* is not much different than from a 14*. That way, even without Titan energy flasks, you will be able to collect 3 loads x9 titan parts daily. A mythic titan is due every 56 days. In average, I noticed that if I hunt for titan parts not 3 times, but only 2 times daily, I am still able to get enough titan skulls to craft at least 20 Alteration scrolls between 2 Mythic titans

Also, it’s important to manage your rare resources - especially scrolls of Alteration and Hurricanes. Usually I allow myself to make only 2 big hits vs a Mythic titan (with Scrolls of Alteration and Hurricanes). But for this one I decided to use some more since apparently I was getting way more skulls than expected.

Of course the cheesiest way to get free Alteration scrolls is to join an alliance whose members invests $$$ heavily so that when any of them buy the Mythic titan bundle, you still get one Alteration scroll as a gift. Personally I don’t like that one. For example my current alliance which I temporarily joined for this Mythic titan managed to get into top 1000 without anyone buying the MT bundle - it’s a Russian alliance, as you know they currently can’t buy any stuff in E&P.

Edit: It’s also good if you have semi-developed alt accouts to help you with crafting harpoons, that way saving you a ton of resources. You still get the parts even if you threw 0 harpoons - important thing is for alts to throw 10 (for a 1* ).

I did NOT get it. I went to bed with like 3 hours left and was top 1%. Woke up to 5%. [image] Looking at the scores of others who posted I missed out by a VERY small margin. I am talking a boosted tile here or there in my attacks. I can also think of two swings where my scrolls ended up blocked at what would have been opportune moments for over a minute. Thank you for the very indepth response I had no idea, so much time would be involved. It´s very helpful to know, thank you so much.

Knowing people do what you describe; they certainly deserve their score to be much different and better than mine. I´ll settle for less then, as I have no alt accounts, and only have time for one account, but still - this helps me to know, where I´m meant to “score”. Thanks again!

The Mythic Titan has turned into such a joke. Prior to these pengi teams, it took skill, and preparation to level heroes for each specific color. Now, Franz, Chameleon, 2 Pengi, and a Glenda can be used on every titan to over power and the winner is who ever can fire their Pengis the most times. Kind of disgusted to be honest. Pengi is featured in next weeks portal, which means after people spend their money to pull him, they will for sure nerf him.

They’ll probably do what they did at Christmas and nerf the rest of the families minions further to balance Pengi. Lord knows it’s Frosty and Buddy making Pengi so good on Mythic Titans.

I get your point of it being ridiculous to have a single team be good for all 5 now. That team isn’t that hard to acquire for most spenders. Puts a damper on others for sure who want to plan ahead and see “if they can” when a single team is so lopsided.
