before open any bugg topic is it intention that POV underwater challenges is not counted if you play untold tales(additional S2 stages)

@PlayForFun do you know maybe?is it intentionally?

It’s intentional because it’s not actually the same stage effect.

Correct.

Untold Tales’ stage effect is “Deep Underwater” and not normal “Underwater”.

deep watter or puddle u can drown in it

So what’s your point? Regardless of their names, those two stage effects have, although similar, different mechanics. Also PoV doesn’t have high-end players as its main target so challenges should stay pretty reachable for newer/mid-game players. Wouldn’t be fair to have PoV challenges that require to have access to UT1.

I believe their point was that as Untold Tales takes place underwater then it would be reasonable to expect it to count along with Atlantis underwater stages.

Note: It does say “underwater map stages” and technically Untold Tales is not on the map.

well, they’re not the ones deciding - my reading of their point was, they were simply explaining why Zynga decided to not count Untold Tales stages as underwater.

I think Zynga is the one who should be explaining their point re making this distinction. Reminds me of the “Train/Summon an Epic Hero” PoG challenge, when earlier versions didn’t count HA8 trainings in its completion.

Honestly between staff and mods, we have tired this with covid19 and Ukraine, to have a sort of a master topic to let folk express there feelings.

Well the topics ended up like a war zone or a plague as folks all have different opinions.

Honestly aswell this is the empire and puzzles forum … Plenty of other soical media platforms out there to talk about said topics, go there and discuss …:green_heart:

@Mad1max9 not sure if you’ve heard of this race - Big Dog’s Backyard Ultra - but it’s among the more niche and fascinating! No ending until the runners decide to quit.

After 108 hours and 450 miles :scream: Harvey Lewis won! He is one of the kindest souls. Race wrapped yesterday. More info here:

I watched that one too!! Did I tell you that I work with a guy who ran the Moab 240 earlier this month? :exploding_head: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: one day…

Oh yes you did! How did it go for him? I meant to ask you!

Do you also follow Laz’s even more popular race The Barkley Marathons? That’s my favorite event every year. There are two really good docs about it. If you haven’t watched them I’ll send you the links!

He finished 50th! Not too shabby for a little desert jaunt.

I have not! Educate me, please!

Omg I’m so excited for you to discover this!

The second doc is more compelling and my fave, but I do advise you start with the first. Up to you. The second doc is fine to watch as a standalone as it also tells you all about the history of the race. But it will give spoilers for the first one. :slightly_smiling_face:

And then if you catch Barkley fever (I think you will) this one is fab:

And amazing run by your friend!:clap::clap:
