I already tried twice to do Stage 9. And I don’t want to do this event again for a non-costumed S1 pull. I get those enough. Tankiest hero I got was instant killed too.

Finished the event. Wasn’t terribly interesting. Last level is a bit tricky. Definitely a slog.

The 3* and 4* are well worth pulling for. I got both in 2 super lucky pulls. Goldie is a game changer

I might get luckier somehow in Super Elemental Summons or Black Friday for those. I think those portals are cheaper, in terms of gems.

Yep. I failed the last level. Not worth the time and world energy for not even a pull. I may be a minority, but the over and over designing of formats that make everything play differently are tiresome. Raids and wars are the challenge in this game. Everything else is the slog you go through for free pulls. As these events get more and more convoluted I’m less and less interested in clearing the events.

I looked at this event and its one-pull and was debating whether to do it, but PoG was all “do Quest stages” and meh, it’s a one-pull and some emblems…

…and I mean, I could try to learn what all these new likely-OP bosses do now, or I could just

Number of boss specials fired, other than “Mindless Attack”: zero. (In stage 10, the passive damage going off was enough to be, oof, pay attention.)

and now I just get used to hitting “Reroll” in raids even more times.

Briefly debated whether I should throw money at this portal, but ugly odds plus “why should I encourage overwriting several game mechanics at the same time by sending in money?”

The last 2 stages bosses deal a lot of damage… was very difficult at first until I found the right team to do the job… I tried 6 times to win the 9th stage and finay won it using the following team! With the same team I completed stage 10 on the 1st trial.

I went with mana control: Onatel + CB Lixiu and counterattack: Azmia and C Seshat to keep snipping the most annoying enemy.

I enjoyed giving life back to my classic Lixiu!

Maybe next time we will get a event that limits troop usage to 1 and 2*. So none of those mana troops allowed

Finished last two levels with this team in 1st attempt. No battle items used. Mana control is the best.

Played this team all the way through and they never fired once.

Mana reduction is the key

I used this team. Ran the entire thing on auto. With mana control from griffex, I don’t remember seeing anyone fire. Rewards were not worth it.

I keep hearing people mentioning in YT videos that it’s only a 0.5% chance to summon a legendary, but isn’t it actually 0.5% + 0.4% = 0.9%? Yep I know the odds are still lower than pulling an event hero in other portals, but am I missing something here?

Apparently that’s not how stats work. I thought so too, but it doesn’t stack that way.
