đŸ”” [Master Discussion] -- Trials of Mysticism - Guide, Sharing & Discussion

I used the following:

Zeline+7
LotL+19
Proteus+7
Sartana+20
Almur+15

Going in to the last stage with at least 2 of Lotl minions on 3 heroes, along with proteus, made the fight very easy none of their specials ever went off.

Any tips? Maybe not a good team for trials of Mysticism?

P.s. sorry couldn’t find February’s topic

This is the main thread:

Well, I didn’t use a powerful team in this trial, so it could be possible.

Here is the team:

It worked out well. I had always been bummed to not have a D dropper but I think Kiril’s A boost with Glenda’s special A boost prior to firing Quintus and Skittleskull is close
or at least significantly better than what I had.

Team worked out well. They held up very well. Almost won with no items but the board went to complete garbage and kept cascading so Quintus fired like 3 turns in a row. That started to hurt. I will probably keep rolling with this team for the foreseeable future even though green and purple are not great on the mobs. That just makes it slower though, not necessarily “harder”.

Not enough for Quintus’s next node. Wizard saved for Glenda, which is also where the trainer went. When she is maxed I can reset Fura and I also have a stock pile. She will likely go straight to maybe +10ish. She is currently 67/80. Super cool hero!

Good luck out there!

Hard to say. This is a very difficult trial just due to the nature of the heroes in these classes until you get a lot more, and some hard to get, ones. The main issue is a lack of firepower in general.

Looking at your team you likely have the healing to make it to the bosses and survive a long time. The damage to kill them part is what I question. Whether it is a slow defeat or a slow victory.

That being said the other heroes aren’t hitters either, again, a reflection of the classes themselves more than your roster specifically. Grevle boosts A and allows overheal, so he should be good over c-Hawkmoon. It
Might be nice to slow down their mana with Chochin, but I don’t know who to cut. Quintus is your only hitter and probably more durable given his level over another maxed 3*.

Truthfully I think it’s going to be tough. This is the last trial I could beat I remember. If you’re willing to spend gems to reset you can do it, but it’ll be a slow grind. How durable Krampus is at that level will be a factor too.

IDK, it’s just a game. Give a shot and see is what I would do. Maybe someone smarter than me will have a better idea too. Either way let us know how it goes. Good luck and have fun!

You could try carpet bomb strat. Bring 5 axes, 5 bombs and 5 dragon attacks and nuke the bosses.

My team is 4-60 Sabina, 3-60 skittlesour, 3-50 grevle+6, max Kashhrek+6 and cKiril+20.

I took out ulmer with grevle buff, skittlesour skill, some green tiles, 5 axes and 4 bombs.

Then i just slow kill the other two bosses

I have no idea what was going through my mind today when I did this but I almost lost all my heroes.

Vanda / Proteus / cKashhrek / LotL / Jean Francois

I ended up losing Proteus then cKashhrek and then Vanda! hahaha
I won though wheeew

Same team, but Sabina was up to +17. This will be my team for a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time.
Emblems brought Sabina to +20, now Skittleskull is up next; wizard’s went to Grevle, brought him to +19. Trainer to Tiburtus#2

Will have to eventually get cKashhrek so that I don’t rely on Grevle’s HP boosts. And I still need some offensive sorcerers or wizards leveld and maxed. (I know I have a couple, like Fura and Isarnia and Quintus.)

Let’s hope I can get Fura ready for the next Trials of Mysticism.

This was the first time I completed the Trials of Mysticism all the way through. My team was as follows:

Grevle - costume Kiril - Skittleskull - Sabina - Almur

The items I took into the fight: bombs, axes, mana potions, minor mana potions

Grevle overheals and increases attack. Costume Kiril lowers enemy defense and attack. Skittle hits everybody. Sabina heals and debuffs. Almur is an elemental dropper. They all work well together. I worked the board before the bosses to a point where I had green tiles in good position. I then used an axe to finish off the last monster (didn’t want to mess up my board set up!). So when i got to the bosses, I launched Grevle (attack up), Kiril (defense down), Almur (elemental defense down), and then Skittle (hit them all!). I kept Sabina in reserve to heal against counter damage and launched the green tiles. Didn’t take long before everyone was juiced up again and I could repeat the process. I also used a couple of bombs and axes to finish off two of the bosses when they got low on HP to avoid a debuff. I probably didn’t have to, but I don’t want to use 20 WE flags and come out with nothing, right?

Congrats on your first time win @Christian77 !

Thanks! I haven’t had Almur and Costume Kiril leveled up all that long. They made all the difference.

Those are great pulls. I don’t have either hero myself (yet? :crossed_fingers:). Whatever/whoever gets the job done!

Team:

Could’ve put in second cMarj+0 in place of Alfrike, but I wanted to have a bit of fun. Pretty sure this is the same team as last time except everyone is now emblemed out the wazoo. Slightly light on damage but between Mitsy and Alfrike I should be covered.

Mob waves went smoothly, final round used a bomb to preserve a good board going into the boos wave. Unleashed everybody except Mitsy and Alfrike, then dumped as many red tiles as I could into them before setting off Mitsy. Unfortunately Balthazr charged up way faster than Ulmer due to tile distribution so had to fire off Alfrike and erase Mitsy’s special. Now here’s where things get interesting: board died after this initial honeymoon, and just kept giving me greens and yellows. Quintus eventually went off, no big deal I though, except Balthazar then slashed cKiril with the jinx talent procing and one shot him!! :scream::sob:

I don’t really mind or care so much about losing my on healer, but cKiril’s main job was to provide the defense drop and unfortunately I no longer had that. Ok nevermind that just keep pushing on. Board still dead, cMarj on verge on dying. Crap, gotta throw two healing pots at her. Oh noes Balthazar jinxed Cobalt now and he’s down to 65 HP!! Argh you mofos! Luckily a stream of red tiles showed up, got Mits fired up, and made Ulmer kill his dumb self. Ghosted some purple tiles where he once stood, and Quintus too fell. Finished off Balthazar with some dark cubes because payback from the freaky queen is a biatch!

Item tally: 1 bomb, 2 healing pots
Emblems to bring Mits up to +19, trainer saved.

I didn’t have time to be original or make the trial harder, so I went with this team:

The trainer will go to Killhare, the wizard emblems for Lord Loki and the sorcerer ones will be saved.

Good luck and take care.

Emblems on Skittleskull are the only difference from last time. Completed with the usual grind: not a tough trial, not the easiest either.
