Reset Emblem
I went with some different heroes and tested lord Loki for the first time.
The battle wasnât so complicated, but I lost c. Melendor despite having boosted heal. Lord Loki was useful for the copied defense down, but Proteus is the one who makes the difference. I didnât need to use any object.
Trainer for Merlin, wizard emblems for lord Loki and the sorcerer ones will be saved.
Thereâs a reset token in this case.
Good luck!
Yaaay! Then Iâll definitely complete it!
Same as last time
But only scrapped through this time
Emblems might get C Sartana to 20
2nd team
Yet again, bombs away
Emblems for Sartana, trainer for Quintus

Reward
Emblem both keep in stock for now, Trainer goes to Ameonna.
Reset emblem keep for now.
No change in anything from last time, except used some mana pots same people died different order though and havenât swaped that troop haha.
Emblems to guin sorcerer in storage trainer rigard 2
3-70 Krampus - Isarnia - cVivica - Almur - Proteus
The Krampus attack up plus cVivicaâs def down made things easy. Proteus was an overkill.
Sorcerer emblems kept for Krampus, Wizard to Shale, Trainer to Oberon costume
Same team as last time:
Vanda / Proteus / cKashrek / Lady of the Lake (3/70) / Jean Francois
Vanda died. I started with a decent board but then sadly it dried up and i got nothing I needed.
But I survived and won.
@Muchacho, I was finally convinced to totally shake up my lineup for this trial just to try something different. With Ulmer as the main threat, I thought a green-heavy lineup might be effective. So this time, I went with:
- Wizard Melendor +20
- Almur +19
- Elder Kasshrek 4^70
- Skittleskull +c18
- Onatel +7 ('cause hey, I ainât THAT dumb!)
The mobs were a little frustrating with such a color-heavy lineup, but eventually, I got pretty good boards, and had both a green and a yellow diamond on the board by the final wave. Obviously, I tried to preserve them, but I could not. They set off a combo of 10 or so, which ensured that all heroes were charged and the fourth wave didnât take very long to wipe out. Pleasantly, the replacement tiles werenât bad either.
Again, my thought on the boss wave was that Ulmer taking green tiles with Almerâs elemental defense down would be pretty nice, since Ulmerâs defense is terrible anyway. I did get to test that theory once, and yes, itâs pretty nice! Three tiles reduced his health by about 25-33%. With an excellent board, I think this lineup could make really short work of olâ Baldy. As it was, even with Onatelâs mana control, Ulmer fired twice, but both times, I had Melendor ready to reverse it. That was good timing, and I can see the fight going sideways with this lineup if the board was bad. As it was, Ulmer fell first, Balthazar next, and finally Quintus. Each fired twice, and the only one of my heroes who was ever in danger was Kasshrek, because apparently Balthazar really doesnât like him. Thank goodness for overheal.
Not enough wizard emblems for Sartana to grab a talent. Sorcerer emblems saved for Krampus. Trainer hero to Sabinaâs costume, which is almost done, and Iâm excited about.
#ihavenootherchoicechallenge for me this time around
Last time was:
today i tried a whole different team, consisting of:
Almur +18 - Sabina +14 - Skittle +c.bonus - Merlin +20 - C.Melendor +7
Well, it went exactly like last time. Easy, but long battle. Ulmer went down first of course, Merlin almost always shut down Quintus, Sabina was there to heal we Merlin couldnât.
Sorcerer will go to Sabina soonish, wizard stored because of reasons (i donât know if have someone to emblem, except Kiril#2). Trainer to Malosi. Token always welcomed.
Double proteus. Only Balthazar fired once when the outcome was already clear. One manapot for when purples were scarce and a cascade almost filled ulmer.
Trainer to fura.
Team:
Result:
I could have used Proteus, but decided not to. I ended up using a couple items, but probably didnât need to. No worries. All emblems saved, trainer hero to Skadi (4/74).
Awesome, congrats! Variety is the spice of life ⊠and also how you end up with .
Those are some potent greens. Melendor, Almur, and Skittle all have A values over 700 so with Almurâs D drop the tile damage will be nuts even if none of the specials are devastating like a Kingston, Lianna, etc.
I donât remember who I used last round. I think it was something like:
C-Melendor +20
Kiril +20
Quintus +12(ish)
Fura +20
C-Skittles
It went okay. I got bored and bombed the bosses a bit this time. More for expediency then necessity. The highlight for me was using my 3:70 Glenda on the first 2 stages, which went really well. One more scope and she is maxed which will be nice. Her hit increase is noticeable. I think I swapped Kiril in for her on the last stage, maybe sheâll come next time for kicks though.
I brought Fura mostly to help justify in my mine her +20 status . Glenda helped her I guess.
I wish some of these stages incorporated healing more so Almur and Fura could have more effect. Same with provinces. You really hardly ever deal with situation their health reduction is beneficial. Fura in diamond raids isnât great so farâŠ
Trainer to Ranvir (thank you ToL)
No wizard heroes to emblem (hence Fura +20). Shaman fell short of boosting Quintus
This time I decided to make the trial a bit harder (well, with Proteus, thereâs nothing difficult).
Maybe there was a lack of power, but the bosses didnât have a chance either. I didnât need to use any object.
Trainer for Guardian bat, wizard emblems for Lord Loki and the sorcerer one for Uraeus once I max him.
Good luck and take care.

Team This Time
Didnât screenshot before fight, but this is my team. Almur in, Melendor.C out.
Battle
Decent start on boss wave.
At 1st easy peasy and almost win without using any items, but⊠the board turn into super bad so I use 1 bomb and 5 heal for completation.
Reward
Sorcerer for Almur, WIzard keep. Trainer goes to Mireweave.
Same team as last time think guin higher on emblems plus changed the troop went better than the last time one sml and medium mana used.
Everything in storage.
For the second straight Trial of Mysticism, I completely blew up my lineup just to try some new things. Last time, it was my green-heavy lineup. This time:
- Wizard Melendor +20
- Onatel +7
- C. Justice 4^80
- Sartana +18
- Krampus 4^64
Double yellows for two purple bosses, Melendor to heal and flip Ulmerâs debuff, and Krampus to boost damage and eat specials with his taunt.
Mob waves went surprisingly well. Got about three waves in and wondered why I still hadnât fired my only healer a single time. The answer? Elf minions! I always underestimate how helpful those are in terms of not having to heal as often. Just one more service that my not-so-friendly neighborhood Krampus provides.
Entered the boss wave with all specials charged. Went to work on Ulmer, as heâs really the only dangerous one here. Onatelâs mana control was key, as always. The double yellows werenât super effective, because they both have garbage attack values, even with Krampusâ attack boost. But Krampus was the story of the day. Each boss fired once, and each time, Krampusâ taunt and undispellable def buff were active. Holy smokes, is it satisfying to watch him take that lightning or ice for the whole team and snarl, âIs that all you got?â These last few levels to max him are gonna take forever, but I think they will be so worth it. Ulmer went down, followed by Balthazar, and Quintus last.
Did it take a long time? Yeah, longer than it should have. Was I ever really in danger? No, not really. Trainer hero to my shiny new Bjorn. Almost enough wizard emblems for that insanely expensive eighth node for Onatel. Sorcerer emblems saved for Krampus, of course.
