When it comes to loot, a complete joke. As F2P you’ll get one master node each 70 days, while the whales have a full team of 5* with 5 master talents since day one.
I see a few potential teams for myself (and some of which may be applicable to others)
C2.kiril is my only barbarian healer and as a over healer (with attack down and defense up) he’s in regardless
For defense down I could go Grimm, gormek, frank, or silvaria (minions add some “over health” if needed). I’ll likely go Grimm or gormek depending on color.
If I wanted a blue stack I could go nordri and jott
If I want mana control I’ll bring little John.
Boots could be interesting. I’m not sure he has what it takes to survive but the wither could be very helpful.
Likely toons Obakan and azlar will be there as two of my best heroes.
I’ll likely do c2.kiril - defense down - azlar - obakan - one more.
Is dup toon Obakan (not limit broken with no emblems my best option)? Double defense down options with gormek and Grimm so the option is always there? Little John for mana control? Boots for wither and a nice blind chance? Jott for enhanced tile damage?
I expect to use a lot of tornadoes, time stops, and mana pots. I hope I don’t have to break out hurricanes and time freezes.
Its a bit weak, so I needed one revive scroll, a few antidotes and 4 timestops on last stage.
Goal was to prevent the slayer from using his special. The timestops did this job.
This was a fun emblem quest. Tbh, I didn’t know what was going on. I normally put my newer heros (1/1) and test them out here or let it go to autoplay, but nope…
Really enjoyed this to be honest - it was nice to have a challenge on emblem trials again, and by being limited only to one class, for the mid-tier roster it felt reallyt satisfying.
I did underestimate the trial and didn’t think I would need any battle items, but I was proven wrong there - one or two revive scrolls and I probably would have been gucci. Will go back in and give those Garjammal the punchback I want!
And here is where a big problem of the outdated UI for the Hero grid rears it’s ugly head.
If you sort Heroes by class it groups based on the current costume your Hero is wearing ! So if a Barbarian is equipped with a costume which is a Fighter they will be grouped with the other Fighters not as a Barbarian.
The same if any Hero has a Barbarian costume which is not equipped, they will not appear with the other Barbarians.
Compared to reports from Beta, this seemed not too bad. Took a bit of doing, but my barbarian team had a decent mix (and Miki certainly helps).
Also, almost anything would seem easier than the current mess of the Cheeseskin Gargoyle Event
On the one hand, the total number of master emblems per quest is a bit disappointing; on the other hand, the number of regular emblems is fairly respectable.
Not sure how well my damage will do in the Cleric event but getting together what I can…
I am lucky to have good Barbarians. However, even without using items, bosses felt a bit sturdy on stage 3, which is not bad. A good challenge is always nice. I was expecting to activate Hippo and then the other 4 specials, most of which do damage, and the bosses to just die. It wasn’t that way, i had to play the board as well and activate those specials a few times.
As mentioned, i have good Barbs and it was not difficult to complete this one but then i have a couple classes that lack power and i feel it will be a real challenge when those class quest show up. Look forward to it lol
And finally, as i already mentioned in earlier comments, 10 ME per class every 70 days from this class quest is NOT good at all. We need a full year to get a single 5* from +20 to +25. We need to get between 30 and 40, not 10.
