Thx, this is useful.
I have added it to the OP.
what’s the difference between epic and legendary troops? Does anyone know and what’s the cost in materials?
Lots of info on Legendary Troops can be found here.
not sure if anyone has made a comparison yet. you might need to check and compare yourself on these threads:
Sure my friend @Zack already made a detailed comparison on 4* styx vs. 5* troop
Briefly, 4* Styx is 9% mana generation better, while Legendary troop has 10% more attack and defense and 40% more HP
And i use similar heuristic on magic/mana
The main difference is soon the game will be flooded with 5* troops everywhere and the devs will start to nerf “behind the scenes” the epic troops…you will notice their damage decreased even the stats didnt change…to push the players to pulls 5* and to convert the 4*
Once legendary troops are released then epic troops will become the equivalent of S1 5* – useful to f2p players (like me) but not much else.
Scroll up to the opening post. Info there for legendary troops. There’s a bit on epic troops vs legendary there.
Do Ranger/Wizard really cap out at 39% HP instead of 40%??
Here’s my first legendary troop. I converted a 29 mana troop but I have spares (magic 30, mana 23).
I have enough feeders to push it to 27. This will help out my 4* healers - Ana Belle, Rigard and cSabina and my fighters - Goretooth and Killhare.
so is there any reason why is needed two different troops for same classes as we get bonus and and special boost for main and secondary class of troop
i think 25 new troop in gamr should be more than enough
I chose the minotaur one
They give better attack
I did a yellow fighter (for Erlang Shen / c2-Vivica). Consumed all my yellow troops, and only got to level 25. I have a green crit troop at 26th. Really hoping to get a dark one from the portal, as I have only mana/styx/wizards in dark…
Took my troop up to level 28. It cost 2225 xp to get to level 29. Each feeder costs 88K iron.
In comparions, a level 17 troop costs 2450 xp to get to level 18 and a feeder costs 51K.
I already consider iron to be way too abundent and food to be a constant bottleneck. Now that I realize each level on Epic troops is actually further away than Legendary, I plan to continue to use higher level feeders on the Epic troops and try to use my lowest level troops as possible to level Legendaries.
Same here
He’s my costume 2x lb alfrike with a 30 paladin 5* troop …
It’s fine… But it doesn’t seem great… Good yes… But worth all the effort?
Am I understanding that if I convert a mana/magic/cyclops troop I actually suffer a mana DROP???
As it is currently implemented, a level 29 legendary troop only has +11% mana. However, in beta they could go up to level 50 and had +15%. So there’s probably some kind of a level break coming later or sooner.
