I managed to raise an epic mana troop to LV26, question: Is it worth exchanging for a LV1 legendary troop? since all my other troops are LV11. And do legendary troops have a lower cost to level up?
IMO only worth it if you have another backup 4* mana troop available and leveled, since you can’t use legendary troops in tournaments(?).
Worth noting that you need 300 emblems of the legendary troop’s primary class to convert (not secondary), plus another 25/50/75 emblems every 10 troop levels…so 450 emblems total to max.
Lastly, legendary troops cost iron to level, not food. Hope this helps!
a lot depends on the mana break points of the your heroes and whether you ever want to work with more than one hero in a colour… If you want to play with colour formats such as 2-2-1, then it’s important to get at least two strong troops in each colour.
When you do convert, only do so when you have enough feeder trainers to get a 5 * beyond around level 10 so that you can at least break even on power.
To expound on @Gerg 's post, the level 26 mana troop has a much bigger mana bonus than a fully leveled legendary troop. This means that most people are going to want to get mana/wizard/styx troops to level 29 and keep those, saving conversions for crit/ninja troops.
Yes, but, given that we are stuck with a situation in which SGG have cynically introduced 5* troops in the way they have, many alliances can be benefitted by members making conversions from 4 to 5*.
5* troops (at least at level 30) have far better stats… than 4* troops of the same level, yet, when calculating alliance scores for war matchmaking, SGG considers 5 and 4* troops to have equal power.
There may be advantages for alliances in players making a lot of their investment in (perhaps) one colour in developing (at least) one legendary troop.
No, if this is you first big troop, then keep it.
The question how many troops to max before you convert one is of course open to discussion, I personally will max 3 rainbows of 4star troops and then start converting the 4th rainbow when I get there.
Yes, a 4 * troop needs 450 xp to get out of 1st level, and that levelling cost increases by 125 xp per level,
while a 5 * troop needs just 200 xp to get out of 1st level with that levelling cost increasing by just 75 xp per level.
Though with a different range of strengths than those offered by various 4 *s, 5 *s can quickly achieve comparable stats.
